Browsing is made easy as your videos are sorted in different libraries, and each movies has its information retrieved online automatically. 4 ★This is an excellent app. One very big thing I would like to see is the ability for the server to hide unused sections on the client. For example: "Home Video." If this was available is would definitely give it a five. It would also be nice to have a search option. 👍

1 ★Cannot play any movie, always end up with unknown error.

5 ★This is very good application. Very easy to use, it has native HW transcoding directly on nas supported. Great Application. Works seamlessly on TV, android phones , ipad. well done. Very simple setup and connection to your files on your nas with quickconnect. well done.

4 ★Needs five options for video quality. Low, medium, high, original, and auto. High appears to play at the original video quality. Unless you have high upload speeds, high bitrate files will constantly buffer.

1 ★Became slower and slower each update, it hardly loads any thumbnails anymore, when refreshing it says operation failed. It used to work great in the past now its so slow I refrain from using it as going to the imdb website to find info and details in the same lists is an even faster method now, strangely enough.

3 ★Auto pausing a video when you're viewing something else sounds like a useful feature but it does it at best at inconvenient times and at worse when there is nothing playing (Pinterest). Please give us the option to turn it off.

2 ★Doesn't cache thumbnails. Has to rebuild the thumbnail list at every single login, which takes like 10-15 minutes, but only by scrolling slowly through the list. Unbelievable. Yes I have a low end NAS but it would be perfectly usable for this if the app cached the thumbnails.

4 ★This app is pretty awesome on both my phone and my Shield TV. BUT, I would love to be able to preview trailers of movies before playing them. Perhaps TheMovieDB integration could be added in the future to support playing trailers? I'd give the app 5 stars if it had this feature!

1 ★Flat out doesnt work. All videos (including ones that used to work) now fail. The app trys and either errors or goes back to the login screen. If you are considering buying a Synology NAS for this or the other apps, don't.

2 ★Last update was a year ago? Sad! Please give the option not to pause the video when casting to a tv while watching a video in a another app. Not being able to do anything on your phone while casting is super annoying.

4 ★Definitely works... for the most part. I cannot do anything else on my phone while Casting (to Chromecast) or the video will stop and only be restarted by exiting the application and relaunching. Great app otherwise. Love my Diskstation.
