2 ★I keep having to uninstall and reinstall wish you guys will get this app together I've been having this app for years and just installed on at my daughter's house in the last 6 months so I wasn't having any problems down I'm still be having issues every week with my cameras having a free install and then install back in from the camera to work on my phone
1 ★This app is horrible. Never works on phone. Password reset is a joke because you must login to reset the password! I can only view my cameras from my TV, when I'm at home, which defeats the purpose of watching the house when I'm away!!
1 ★No matter how many times I have set the time on the dvr; it self changes. This night owl camera system doesn't display accurate date and time. This is so annoying!!!
2 ★The system works but this app stinks! It's always going offline meaning you get notified when there is movement but if you try to view it there is nothing.. You try to reconnect and nothing, you have to Uninstall the app and reinstall it.... ALL THE TIME!
1 ★Very disappointing how this company is handling people's complaints about their app. Not even one person is satisfied and yet they just continue to give their standard generic and unhelpful response to clear the cache and allow permissions. The only reason to buy this system is for an affordable camera from Costco .after that,forget about customer support or a great app. Very sad Same goes for all versions of their apps
1 ★horrible since update. i can't even connect to my dvr and see my cameras unless I'm at home on my home wifi network. i can no longer check my cameras when I'm away from. this absolutely trash and not safe security practices
2 ★Very inconsistent. I have to force close app frequently hoping it will work. Most of the time it doesn't. Then, the next day it will work. Makes no sense. It is for security!!! It should always work!!!
1 ★I can safely say for the 3 years I've had the app and the hardware there hasn't been a week without a headache. It's all just junk. Hopefully the wiring I've done can be used for the next equipment I buy.
1 ★When is this app going to really get fixed. It worked for 2 days last week. I am out of town and cannot check on my house because it again stopped working and cannot get it to work again. This is going on months now. Please do not buy this.
1 ★Maybe it will work ....maybe it won't. That's how it works on my phone. 16 channel DVR that's 50% worthless if I'm watching from my phone.
3 ★When it works, it works fine, but there's often periods where the app has issues with having the device in device manager being connected while accessing remotely. Not often enough to complain about in itself, but the biggest issue is the battery drain at the moment. Even with background use restricted, the app seems to be running constantly in the background. If you don't go into the app and force close it, it'll be a constant drain in your battery.
2 ★Would love to post a better review but I've had this app for about 2 years now and it hasn't gotten any better. It works when it feels like it. On my phone as long as I'm connected to the same wifi as my system it loads pretty fast. But if I'm not home (when I need it the most) it either doesn't connect or takes 10 minutes. On my laptop I'm lucky to get it to connect at all. Very displeased. The developers really need to look into this.
