5 ★Fantastic app for anyone wants to lift/build strength. The workouts are really simple and the app does the calculations for you. Lifting heavy can be scary because of the risk of injury, but the form videos/descriptions are comprehensive yet easy to understand. Definitely one of the best strength building apps out there, especially after the V.3 update. No ads I believe, but I paid for the upgraded version ($20/yr). The warmup calculator is a huge help when you start lifting heavier imo.
5 ★Love the app - love the workout! Comprehensive, Progressive, and even at beginning stage of comback after many years away from free-weight and a battle with cancer, growing in strength already. Appreciate the superb videos and insightful tips, helpful in reorientation to proper form & technique. Love that its all accessible from the app, as well as the bonuses of timer, calculator, and history functions. First time I've been this excited about a program in a long time - all in 30 minutes at home!
5 ★I have been using this app for several years now. Any fitness expert that knows what they're doing will tell you the best workout plan is the one you can stick with which for me means simple. The lifting program this app follows is dead simple and perfect for beginners. It also adjusts as you progress to keep the program relevant even as you move to intermediate and advanced lifting. If you're new to lifting or are coming back from a long break it would be hard to recommend a better app.
5 ★App works well and has a clean interface. I upgraded to Pro and enjoy the automatic calculations on resets and weight plate loading. Literally just have to open the app and follow it to workout. No need for a separate log or having to figure weights out for the next workout. Also like the built in timer. All in all a great app.
5 ★I'm mid 40s and new to weight lifting. The app simplifies everything and programs my progress. The only thing that isn't in the app are tips on how to perform the movements properly but you can get that on the site or from other sources. I'm going into my fourth week and feel stronger and motivated. The workouts are fun and I finish looking forward to the next session!
5 ★Good to get back into the basics. Great program,easy to use. Used the program before and good see you can add other workouts . The timer dings and doesn't interrupt your music playing. You want a simple,no thrills, get it done program...this is the one. Also good information in his form/blog on mechanics of workout and no BS excuses.

That and a way to see your potential lifting weight in the future if you stay on track would be a great motivator. Still, a perfect App to get you going and keep you in the game! 1 ★This app is virtually abandoned. They stopped supporting it after switching to a subscription model, ironically. Fix your app! It needlessly transitions between the work out and warm up pages. I've reported the issue and provided an animation of the issue. It's been a year with no meaningful updates. Do not give these guys your money.
5 ★The simplest most flawless workout app I have ever used. If you're a beginner like me and are bothering with anything more complicated than this there's almost no point. Machines in general are a waste of time, there is a general consensus among the sports scientists that compound lifts with progressive overload are the most efficient way to build strength.
4 ★I like it! Its super simple and easy to follow. I like that its a one touch entry for tracking your reps - theres no need for typing (unless you change a weight mid set). My only complaint is I would really like some kind of integration with Garmin Connect. I dont use Google Fit at all, and would much rather be able to track my overall fitness progress through Garmin Connect.
5 ★So far I really like the clean format. For a beginner it's refreshing to keep it simple. It seems easier to inoculate myself rather than fully immerse into some of the more complicated apps. If you feel inundated with data entry, especially things you are unsure of it is off putting and will aid procrastinating . Strong lifts makes it easy to start fast and keep going.
2 ★Latest update made it harder to use the app. Removed the +/- weight button so now you have to manually type it in. No quick way to view what plates you need. Now you had to click through 3 sub selections to view a picture of what plates you need. And most annoying of all: when the chime timer goes off it turns down my music AND THEN LEAVES IT TURNED DOWN. So I have to stop and mess with the volume buttons a few times to get it back to where it was
