Description
Jubilant Stories is an exciting community-building initiative seeking out inspiring stories of people coming together to make life better. These stories have gone unrecognised and unnoticed for too long. By putting them in the spotlight we are celebrating the strengths and talents of local people, so together we can build hospitable and inclusive communities.This app allows you to tell your jubilant story, then upload it and have it shared with others on the Jubilant Stories website. With the app you tell your story through photos, video or sound (or any mix of these), along with a brief written account (maximum 300 words). The app will manage the upload of your story, without any worry on your part. You can mark individual photos, video or sound recordings for public viewing or not. Your story should appear (subject to moderation) on the Jubilant Stories website shortly after upload. You can also use the app to nominate another person who is willing to tell their jubilant story. The app will require you to register with your name, postcode and phone/email contact, the first time you use it. This data will be held by the Barnwood Trust and you may be contacted by them about your story. The photos, video and sounds you take are also saved to your device.
If you choose not to share your story publically, then it will only be viewed by staff and associates of the Barnwood Trust. However, all stories will be used for research purposes to help us identify features of inclusive and hospitable communities.
