2 ★Ok. After an investigation on my own, do this if you experience problems login-in: Go to settings->apps->My Account app and then force stop, and go to storage. Delete all data, not just the cache. Enable back the app or reinstall, log back in, and it worked for me. Seems they have a real basic bug on the authentication mechanism. They do need to get better. It's been the same problem in the last two releases, at least.
1 ★Have to reinstall every time I want to use it because it doesnt self update. Fido has been worthless to me the whole time I have used them. I have had major security problems with them and they couldnt solve any of my basic issues stemming from their own negligence. Edit: even after reinstalling this time the app wont load after I sign in. I think it is time to just drop them if I cant reliably access my own account info. I wanted to look at a plan they offered me but now I think I'm just done.
1 ★Can't login...I've done like 100 captcha things in a row, and it wants more. I thought it was a mini game after about 5, it was almost fun. But then I realised the Fido app is straight up useless right now.
1 ★The app used to be nice and smooth. Since last year, all I get is "Oops we hit a snag". It asks me to i put username password every single time now. It goes to the browser for loging in and then again it hits a snag. Again then you open the app, then it starts to work for some time. The whole cycle frustratingly repeats. Fido, there are so many sich reviews. Are you still sleeping? Things are getting outta hands.
4 ★RE: I was able to log in without a problem after this latest update. Hope it stays that way. And yes, I had un/ reinstalled the app more than once, and it was still doing that. Guess it's back to normal now :) Thx ---- It's been difficult to log in these past months if not year - with the user authentication 9 squares popup that never seems to accept any combination. I hope you find better ways to access our account.
1 ★App never works after updating. Cleared cache uninstalled reinstalled still nothing. If I get to log in it says oops we've hit a snag and nothing the majority of the time it goes to a page with the Fido logo and an fr to the right. Re: yes I did but it won't totally uninstall, only uninstalls the update. Then I update and the process starts all over. Garbage. Re: software is up to date
1 ★This app has become anything but garbage. No matter how many attempts you make to sign in, you're stuck at a screen with a dog staring at you! It used to be a great app, but for the last 2 years, Fido has taken many steps backward! Whoever is at the helm of managing this app should step down and let someone with imagination take care of it! Edit: What's the point of using a browser when I wanna use the app? If you don't have a functional app, just delete it altogether. Stop wasting my time!
4 ★Overall it's a decent app with a good UI and useful features for checking data, bills, upgrading plans etc. My only complaint is the log in process. Logging in should be built into the app and not done through a web browser. An app should be more convenient and secure than that. The app should remember my username and allow biometric log in within the app itself. The app logs me out once a week and unless I save info in my browser it's an extremely inconvenient experience.
2 ★Mobile service is a service and you finally started providing the bill payment service that you offered when I signed up so I can start paying my bill more than once every two and a half months. Good job proud of you! You get an update from one star to two for taking several months to do your job. EDIT: I'd give you five stars if you went back in time and fixed it during the first month it happened or rolled back the app to the last version that worked instead of being stubborn about it.
1 ★I'm puzzled by the inefficiency of this application! It repeatedly prompts for username and password, ultimately failing to access the app after consuming a significant amount of time. Additionally, via the browser, there's no access to data consumption details. Is designing a functional Android application a challenging task, or is there a deliberate choice not to address these issues?
1 ★Real-time display of data usage, perks as another reason to use this app ... I just wish I could set more frequent notifications and settings (e.g. dismiss buttons) for each perk! Interface starts feeling "clunky" if you want to use the contests every day, as there is so much tapping and scrolling just to enter each contest! Edit: can't even log in anymore ... decreased review down to 1 star
3 ★I get logged out of the app every month, which is fine, but whenever I try to sign back in, the app always freezes after entering my log in credentials. I then have to close the app, open it back up and try logging in again. Sometimes it works after the 2nd attempt, but most times I have to try logging in 5 or more times before I can get it to work. This happens every month when I go to check my bill and it's extremely annoying. When I'm finally logged into the app, things seem to work correctly
