Description
We so the need to address the children issue of trafficking, abduction and parent missing their children in various circumstance. e.g during their travel/vacations or even shopping malls. Our solution is to use mobile application technology to help parents find their missing children where the authorities e.g police or government do less to help them for example case of Boko Haram kidnapping innocent children. Parent do could use our solution to raise their voices and awareness to children to protect them from becoming victims of this challenge. Moreover our solution help local and internation NGO's to collaborate.The app we have started developing as a solution to address the issue we described will change the way children kidnapping, missing cases, child trafficking and abduction information is share with our social app. Young people will gain awareness from the app in real-time as posted by responsible parents and NGO's concerned about the welfare of the children. Children will be able to get the right information about where to go and who to seek help from when missing. Moreover as result our target users of the app will make an impact to other children by voicing out through the app against this challenges. The app will create an open forum to connect children and young people from all over the world to educate each other this issues to avoid becoming victims and learn from testimonials of other who suffered similar situation.
According to our short research and benchmarking because we only learned about Unicef Innovation Fund a week ago. We can say that the only similar effort so far is not applying mobile technology as a solution to this challenges. There exist only NGO's including Unicef that are working toward a similar goal and paying a noble interest to the children welfare. With that said we could vouch for our solution to be innovative and will be available for free download in iOS, Android and Windows. The features planned for our app solution may be similar to other existing apps which do not address the same challenge however. We would like to pioneer a solution none similar to any existing mobile application ever innovated to this date. If it happens someone else is doing something similar we believe to improve and offer a better solution applying our skills.
