Spok Mobile simplifies communications and strengthens care by using smartphones for your hospital’s secure, critical communications: code alerts, patient updates, test results, consult requests, and more.

This intuitive application links to a powerful communication system where you can send messages/attachments to smartphones and other devices.

Users require all file access permission to upload the attachments in the app to share them with the hospital staff. 1 ★I've missed pages when I'm on call. I have to open the app for it to even notify me that I've been paged. Absolutely worthless.

Sometimes I don't get messages until I open the app. When messages come through, it always switches my ringtone setting from vibrate to sound, which is very distracting because text messages and call notifications will come through with full sound while I'm working with patients. Not a functional app on the Galaxy S23.

1 ★Absolutely awful if you have an android phone. I am constantly missing pages. I get no pop up notifications. There is no way to silence it from the lock screen. Pages come through inconsistently. I have to open it throughout the day just to check if I got anything. This app is total trash.
