2 ★Sounds good up front. The realities of many weaknesses as revealed in many comments make it close to useless.
3 ★It's a decent app. It greatly allows our community to stay connected. The one thing that needs to be fixed is push notifications. I get email notifications instantly whenever somebody makes a new post, but I prefer to get pinged instantly on my phone and not get my email inbox cluttered. I've had to turn email notifications back on, because push notifications do not work properly.
1 ★Glitchiest app I've ever used. Crashes and/or gives me error messages EVERY SINGLE TIME I USE IT, especially when i click through from notifications. Whyyyy??? Also confusing. Today I clicked through from notifications on a thread and the app crashed. So I opened it from the shortcut and couldn't find the thread anywhere. Again ... Whyyyy??? I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S20.
3 ★When looking at the giving history, you can see the amount it is truncated.
1 ★It has trouble loading to make tithe payments. I have to use the online site.
2 ★I guess the app functions okay but it is extremely annoying that I can't rename it, especially with a stupid generic name like Connect. Gee, it's not like I don't have dozens of other apps that all connect to something. If I could rate it DUH! I would.
3 ★It's a great app in theory and a blessing when it's working. I'm able to get prayer requests, church news, and even to give financially thru it. But I lose access to groups on a fairly regular basis, even with installation of updates. I'm then forced to uninstall and reinstall every couple months. 🙄😪
2 ★Awesome idea. Chat unreliable. While the feature set would be awesome if chat doesn't work it's basically a waste of time. If they could fix chat to actually receive messages in a timely manner then it might be worth revisiting otherwise as the defacto tech consultant at my church I wouldn't recommend a congregation to use the app. Stick to the website so you don't frustrate those who already are suspect of using any digital tools.
5 ★Good way to stay connected without a printed book.
1 ★I cant ever get this to load correctly. search feature isnt working, cant post, cant see posts for groups I'm part of. the list goes on. I've tried removing app and reinstalling, clearing data and cache. I'm up to date on software so I'm not sure what else the issue could be.
1 ★Buggy app, not consistent with notifications. Often get a white screen and have to reload app. Been waiting over 2 months for them to fix Android notifications for news and chat and there is still no progress. Updates have been released but the problems are not resolved.
4 ★There are several things I really like about the app. If they announcement a need or special offering as I'm sitting in church Sunday morning I can take out my phone and give a donation right there. And I like that I can easily look people up then Tao on their email address to instantly send them an email, tap on their address to bring up Google Maps to see their location, or tap on their phone number to instantly call or text them. I just wish it could show more than one number for each person.
