Το City-R-Us ήταν μία πιλοτική εφαρμογή που αναπτύχθηκε στο πλαίσιο του έργου Radical.Σκοπός της ήταν να δείξει πως θα μπορούσε να αξιοποιηθεί η τεχνολογική υποδομή που ανέπτυξε το έργο Radical για να κάνει τη ζωή στην πόλη καλύτερη. Να πως παρουσιάστηκε στο πλαίσιο του έργου:
Θέλεις να ανακαλύψεις τις ομορφιές της Αθήνας; έχεις ένα όμορφο σημείο στο μυαλό σου που θέλεις να μοιραστείς; Το City-R-Us είναι η εφαρμογή για σένα!
Το City-R-US Athens είναι μια εφαρμογή που επιτρέπει στους κατοίκους της Αθήνας να συμμετέχουν σε αποστολές με σκοπό να αναδείξουν τα όμορφα σημεία της πόλης τους, όπως ωραίες διαδρομές για τρέξιμο ή περπάτημα, αλλά και να βοηθήσουν ΑμεΑ να βρουν σημεία προσβάσιμα και για αυτούς.
Τα δεδομένα των αποστολών συλλέγονται σ' έναν δημόσιο χάρτη που είναι διαθέσιμο σε όλους ώστε να μπορεί κανείς να βρει νέα σημεία που να τον ενδιαφέρουν και να ανακαλύψει όλες τις ομορφιές της Αθήνας. Στις αποστολές μπορεί να συμμετέχει ο οποιοσδήποτε επώνυμα ή ανώνυμα.
Διάλεξε λοιπόν, την αποστολή που σε ενδιαφέρει, βοήθησε τη πόλη σου, μάθε τα “μυστικά” άλλων χρηστών, και ζήσε καλύτερα σε αυτή!
Η εφαρμογή είναι ανενεργή και διατηρείται απλώς για λόγους ιστορικότητας και θα διαγράφονται άμεσα τυχόν νέες εγγραφές χρηστών.
