Mirages of an unknown city have been seen around the world. Is it real or a hoax? While your detective agency is busy gathering information, your friend is dragged into the phantom city by black smoke. The only one who can save him, you must now enter the strangest place you’ve ever been—where magic, witchcraft and science work together, imagination turns real and weird creatures wander the streets. All around there are people and things gaining unusual abilities and a black smoke that seems to be alive, bringing with it enigmatic artifacts, secrets and dangers.

4 ★It's less an adventure game & more a find-the-object game. There is a plot which is sort of an adventure, but more time is spent on object searches in different "locations" in the plot. There are occasional mini-games that are a welcome diversion, but do not add much to the actual progress in the game. So far, the ones I've experienced could be eliminated without being noticed in the overall game-play.
5 ★This game is so beautiful! The games are pretty hard. They need to make getting rubies easier than just buying them. You get 1 everytime you complete a level but that's not good enough to me, since you need rubies for so many things. But you can always play diff games if you run out of certain items which I like. Love the upper/lower city element. I'll never lose interest. You totally captured the Steampunk look.
2 ★I enjoy this game, but- you can't tell what a lot of the shadow pictures are, the dark scenes give me a headache, some scenes are too crowded to find much, & it's too hard to get extras, like hints. There needs to be a way to get away without perfection. If you don't find ALL of the items, you fail. Needs to be like a 90% achievable rate, or something like that. I'm about done.
5 ★This game is so much fun. The story line is amazing and it's constantly updated! The new club feature is also pretty cool because it lets me play with others in team events. It can be hard to find some items at times, especially for assembling collections. (Ink pens are a good example) But other than that I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a good plot, and beautiful locations!
3 ★Update: received your response. What's the sense of doing this review if you're just going to send me on a goose chase to fix the problem with the app? Not interested in wasting my time. Love the game, but very aggravated that it freezes daily. Additionally, the app shuts down constantly, mid game and wastes all of my tools, boosters, and points. I've been playing this game for years and it never gets fixed. It may be time to move on. . .
4 ★Possibly the best hidden object game in the store. Enjoyable events, ample resources, no forced advertisements, and meaningful powerups, along with a robust achievement system and a narrative style distantly reminiscent of Fallen London. The spirit world is a great place to find things, and to lose yourself. Edit: ugly, laggy, atmosphere-breaking forced ads start several hours in, suspiciously soon after the game asks you to review it. Gross. -1 star.
5 ★I've been playing for 3 years now & really enjoy it. It's a relaxing way for me to unwind. The searches & events are fun & obviously keep me coming back. If you want to beat events, it's possible without spending money but you have to play a lot. I don't have the time for that & rarely finish but still give money to the developers every year since I love the game. Really loving that we can now buy Avatars in the store! My only complaint are the new video ads, I don't mind the static ones.
2 ★Used to love HC. Was awesome having some of my favorite games in one app. HOWEVER, it's been completely none-functional for about a month. It started with the Summer Stage, that I couldn't get into the Location without the app hanging up on load. Then I could get into the Ballet Academy, no prob. But the very next event never would download, and now, I can't even get through the welcoming screens without crashing. Never did like how long it took to load, even before, but now it's useless
1 ★1. This game costs real money if you want to be successful 2. It frequently cannot be played for more than 1 hour and then it takes the better part of a day to recharge 3. It's taken a couple of hours plus uninstalling each time there is an update, so more not playable time. 4. You can't just hunt and hunt to get the collection..I've been trying for weeks to get all the pieces..frustrating 5. My older children gave up, it's too frustrating 6. Graphics are beautiful! It's a shame.
3 ★Just finished your survey about the anomalies in the game. Almost all of the anomalies are extremely annoying. ONE of them, "Pairs," would be very good if we were able just to find the pairs in the scene, rather than wasting all the time looking for particular items, which are invariably hidden behind something else. I refuse even to ~play~ any of the "darkened" ones because they're too frustrating.
1 ★I originally rated this game as 5 star. It really is good. But - the more I play it, the more I feel like the "glitches" everyone talks about are rigged to try and get you to spend money. I logged the crashes I experienced and it's quite interesting what I found. Stat number 1: I play most days, half an hour to an hour, maybe a bit more if I have a bit of free time. Every time I play, the game freezes and closes. EVERY time. Stat 2: It 9/10 it froze loading the event, losing Tokens.
1 ★It was great before the upgrade today. Now all the graphics run off the screen, and you can't tap hidden items on the edges of the scene. There is LOTS of scrolling required to find items now, too, and for some reason they put the list of items to find on the bottom of the screen, eating up still more valuable real estate. It's no fun to play, won't be spending any more $ on that app. Won't be recommending.
