Afraid of tunnels? Check where and how long they are! Get automatic alerts while traveling!The application contains a list of all the road tunnels in Europe longer than 3 km. I'll be working to extend the database with the new ones
Basic features of the app:
- tunnels are shown on the map and also as a list
- you can set what minimum length of tunnels you want to see in the map
- you can set the maximum number of tunnels you want to see in the map (while zooming in the hidden shorter ones are popping up)
- the app can remember the last position and zoom to open the same map view as it was while leaving
- "my location" button to go your current location
- different colors of markers for different tunnel length: over 10 km - red, over 5 km orange, over 4 km - yellow, over 3 km - green
- clicking on the tunnel list the tunnel is shown on the map
Don't ever get surprised on the motorway by a long tunnel in front of you!
Activate the tunnel proximity alerts! While traveling set it on to receive the alerts in case you are heading towards a tunnel. A lot of options to fine tune the search and fit your needs
The route planning function lets you plan the route in advance and check if there are tunnels on the way!! Pick up 2 points from the map or set your current location as a starting point and the app while calculating the quickest route will show you all the tunnels on the way. Be prepared before the travel and don't get surprised!
