This application is pre-programed for a Visonic Powermax alarm system, using the codes from this manual.

This PowermaxSMS Alarm Remote allows you to access your home alarm system from your mobile phone. By typing in your phone number and password it is possible to activate, deactivate, ask for status report, or control X10 moduls.

PowermaxSMS is compatible for 10 SMS languages commands: Danish, Dutch, English, French, Italian, Norwegian, Portugese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.

PowermaxSMS is an alarm remote which works as a Home Control and as an Alarm Monitor that gets its information from your own Alarm System. The Remote Alarm System makes it easy to control your home alarm.

4 ★Does exactly what I need: Visonic alarm remote heaven but needs some thought around security of the password PIN. Works with a range of Sony Xperia devices.

3 ★How do I send other commands, like status? Where is that list of predefined commands?

4 ★Executes the basics OK.The only negative things are: 1) some words are misspelled in the Settings screen & elsewhere, & 2) a exit button is needed. Since one does not exist, the app remains opened. When I click on the icon to go to it again, it's still open. That means I don't have to sign in with a password. Here's what you must do before using the app. Get a Powermax GSM module & any SIMM card. Set REM Access ON. Include your smart phone number as one of 4 SMS reporting #s. Set Report to SMS Phone # to "Disable Report". Powermax+ has a flaw with it's SMS. So you have to use a workaround with this app. The flaw... Powermax will not reply when a text message is sent to it unless your sent text is a "status" or you set Powermax's reporting feature on. Don't set it on unless you want to get text messages every time someone arms/disarms/etc the alarm by keyfob, keypads in the home, etc. You'll get tons of text messages. Here's a workaround. When you arm/disarm, wait several seconds. Click the Send Status button (red with ! mark). Now you'll get the status of the arm/disarm. You'll save time and text message costs. I use Powermax+. This app is good for remotely controlling it.
