Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Great app, I especially appreciate the map of states honoring my permits. Also, the information about each state's requirements for conceied carry permits and need to know laws governing firearms in cars, etc., etc. A bargain app for all firearm owners and potential owners. If you don't take your firearms out of state, it's still a great resource for the laws of your own state. This app, in my opinion, is a "must have" tool that gives immediate access to important, and timely, information.
2 ★I have used this app for years, I have always loved the app and I use it all the time, but I just did the update and it pretty much shutdown my phone. Couldn't make calls, couldn't load web pages, and apps would not load. As soon as I deleted it the phone worked fine. Not sure why this happened. Any help?
2 ★Reciprosity map stopped working. After the latest updates it no longer recognizes my permits. This includes my home state and two additional states. Not recommended until the reciprosity issue is fixed. I re-entered my three permits and submit. i refreshed but the app does not show the 30 or so States which offet reciprocity. I also turned off and restarted my phone. My next step is to delete your app and reinstall. maybe a fresh reinstall will help.
1 ★This is a great app. However I bought what my understanding was a one-time, i.e lifetime subscription in 2013, in other responses they've lied claiming it's always been a yearly .99 cents subscription. I purchased it for 1.49 in 2013 and have never paid 99 cents for a yearly subscription. I'll probably pay only because of Google rewards surveys.
1 ★I agree with the others who are saying they were deceived. We paid for the app with the understanding that we would not have to pay a yearly subscription. And their response is to write to them on feedback so they can "make it right". The only way to make it right is to give those who already paid for this (with that understanding) a permanent thing, as it has been for years. Won't be using this anymore. Uninstalling.
1 ★Loved it until it changed to a subscription. Had the app since 2014 when I purchased it and in the past few months everytime I get into it it is saying my subscription is expired. When did it change to a yearly subscription? When I bought it it was a one time purchase.
4 ★The app is pretty good. However, I paid for this app 6 years ago and am now being forced to start paying for it again. Those of us that paid for it should be grandfathered in. The price is minuscule and worth it, but not the point. A little disappointing. Bad business in my opinion.
1 ★Money Hustle. I guess new app buys must have gotten too low. Bought this app 6 years ago, now the developer either sold out or decided a few million just aien't enough to keep the lights on. It's a nice app, very informative. I wouldn't trust it with my freedom. That said, I can verify my own carry laws, don't need to subscribe. Was a handy app when I bought it. Not handy enough to pay monthly/yearly.
1 ★I paid to purchase this app about 4 or 5 years ago as well as an app called posted to get updates. Now I open the app and I have to pay a fee after I already purchased the app to get the updates. This is a scam! Very unhappy that they now want more money after purchasing their app. Seems like I am not the only one that purchased the app that is has worked longer than 2 years. They changed it up after we had already purchased it. Company should honor all people that purchased years ago.
1 ★Had the app for years and now they are requiring a subscription fee to receive updates.
4 ★The app is great but it should be a one time purchase, not subscription based at the very least the subscription should last a full year. If the app ever goes back to not needing to renew a subscription it would be a five star app.
5 ★This is a great app for long road trips. The only thing I would recommend is adding information about how the laws apply to military service members. Some states require you get a permit, and others do not. I typically have to call or do more research to find out, if I have to get a permit in my location.
