1 ★Improves and makes the use of the Amazfit watch easier. That being said, the developer is not responsive and when he does email you back he expects verification of purchase, etc. When you go through the hoops to do it you don't get an answer after that, apparently because they are flooded with questions. So, is it good? I'd say it's ok, but not worth the money unless your questions are in the FAQ section. Update: Email sent the day after the purchase.Devs passive aggressive response unwarranted
3 ★When I had the Bip, I loved this app and gave it a 5 star review. Having now purchased the new Bip S, there are some features that do not yet function properly. The notification customization still works fine, as do most features, but the watchfaces available are intended for the OG Bip and do not function on the Bip S. Additionally, the button press functions don't work properly anymore. I understand that Bip S support is recent and bugs are expected, but I hope these issues can be fixed soon.
1 ★Integration with Android 10 is not supported. Poor support from the author. After going out of range between the Amazfit and the phone, it starts returning sync issues on the offcial MiFit/Amazfit App. This is only solved by enabling and disabling airplane mode, or by uninstalling this App. Several users report the same disconnecting issue after going out of range (see the reviews) and the author refuses to help only redirecting to the deprecated and useless "Knowledge Base Guides". The author shows no interest in trying to understand the issue by saying: "Unfortunately we were not able to identify your issue from the description provided. We're using Android 10 on all our development devices and this is not an issue if our guides on knowledge are followed." The phone is configured not to kill any of the apps that can be linked to the watch, and we even tried to completely disable battery optimization device-wise (yes, this happens in several phones). Low effort support for a paid app. Direct and dry answers via email. An effort on trying to understand the issue with the user would be great. A fix and/or update would be greatly appreciated.
1 ★This app used to work very well, but with the latest updates the watchfaces no longer upload to my GTR, very annoying and no sign of a.fix despite this problem being apparent for weeks now
1 ★Sadly, after updating to Android 10 this App cannot connect to the Amazfit BIP automatically anymore. I need to toggle Airplane Mode to reinitiate a successful connection. This happens every time the watch looses a connection with my phone. It seems to be conflicting with the official Amazfit / Mi Fit App. Once Amazfit Tools is uninstalled, the watch can connect without issues. I have configured everything as documented and never had any issues under Android 9. Alternative "Amazfit Apps" do not have this issue. But I prefer Amazfit Tools over the competition (Better Sleep as Android integration & Button functionality). A Fix/Update would be gladly appreciated.
1 ★I'm really not sure what I paid for. This app leaves a lot to be desired. 1. The app states heart rates are not stored on the watch, yet with the Amazfit Bip the Mi Fit app will populate missing heart rates when synced after being disconnected all night. This app will not. 2. This app has no ability to customize the watch menu options or watch faces. It seems like this apps best features are the minimal ability to track naps, and set custom notifications, and tasker integration.
4 ★When using this app on my OnePlus 7 Pro, the original amazfit app will lose connection, the only way I can get it back is to put the phone in airplane mode then back to regular mode, this happens every day I have done everything that the app creator said to do to keep connection but it will not keep connection other than that this is a great app.
3 ★I assigned 'Take Photo' in double-press button , but no photo is taken , although i have double checked the permissions to be allowed. I also get some empty notifications '...' .The phone is a Mi A3.
4 ★this so does what it says it will but it's for advanced users. don't expect to simply install this app and it just starts working there way you think it will in your mind. if you follow the directions provided by the developer you shouldn't have any trouble getting notifications and making advanced settings. i like this app, it works just as described, but you've got to be able to follow the developers provided directions to adjust the settings as you like.
2 ★The app itself seems maybe OK, but the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered with a paid app. What happened: I have been unable to find any way to quit the app and its background daemon without completely uninstalling the app. I checked their online support wiki with no joy. So, I sent an email to their support email address describing the problem. What I got back was an automated response telling me to go see the wiki (which I had alreqady done), and if that didn't help send another email. They then state that another email would NEVER be seen by anyone in their development community who actually knows anything. To heck with them. I don't mind paying for apps. I figure that's what keeps the developers in business and provides me with a modicum of support. In this case, no support. I'm outta here. Adios.
4 ★It is a good app. I only use it to change the volume in my tws headphones. If it had a way to control de volume by sliding up and doen after double pressing the button or at least a faster change in volume with the current method more peolple would be using it. Developers, this could be a great selling point, a lot of people are using tws headphones now and have to take their phone out everytime they need to change the volume.
1 ★Doesn't work, at least with my Amazfit Bip. Turning off notifications in the Amazfit app and adding app notifications in this app, none come through to the watch. The notification shade setting in this app is set to always on, high priority. Maybe I have something wrong still but this matches the help docs. Not only that, but the FAQs falsely advertise that Chinese versions of 'watches' language "Can be changed [no matter what]". This is very misleading; it doesn't work with Amazfit GTS CH ver.
