Mit dieser App informiert die Bayerische Staatsregierung über ihre Aktivitäten in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit.Rund 65 Millionen Menschen sind weltweit auf der Flucht. Deutschland – das hat sich in den letzten Jahren gezeigt – ist in Europa bevorzugtes Zielland für Migration. Die Menschen fliehen vor Krieg und politischer Verfolgung, vor Hunger und Wasserknappheit, vor Umweltkatastrophen und Perspektivlosigkeit. In der Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben begeben sich zahllose Menschen in die Hände skrupelloser Schlepperbanden und setzen bei ihrer Flucht das eigene Leben und das ihrer Familien aufs Spiel.
Wir in Bayern sind überzeugt: Es gibt nur eine einzige menschliche Antwort auf diese Migrationskrise und die heißt Fluchtursachenbekämpfung. Wir müssen die Lebensperspektiven der Migranten in ihren Heimatländern verbessern und den Menschen die Möglichkeit geben, in ihrer Heimat zusammen mit ihrer Familie menschenwürdig leben zu können. Das ist die große humanitäre Aufgabe aller entwickelten und wohlhabenden Nationen im 21. Jahrhundert.
Dieser Aufgabe stellen wir uns in Bayern in besonderer Weise mit dem Sonderprogramm „Perspektiven für Flüchtlinge in ihren Heimatländern“. Wir in Bayern engagieren uns in eigener Verantwortung und ergänzend zum Bund und anderen Akteuren in ausgewählten Ländern: im Nordirak, im Libanon, in Tunesien und im Senegal. In den Jahren 2017 und 2018 fördern wir Projekte im Gesamtumfang von 20 Millionen Euro vorrangig in der Wasser- und Gesundheitsversorgung, in der schulischen und beruflichen Bildung, in der Demokratieförderung sowie spezielle Frauen- und Verwaltungsprojekte. Daneben standen bzw. stehen in den Jahren 2016 bis 2018 Mittel in Höhe von 2,3 Millionen Euro pro Jahr für fluchtursachenbezogene Entwicklungszusammenarbeit in weiteren Ländern zur Verfügung. All das zeigt deutlich: Bayern stellt sich seiner Verantwortung in der Welt.
