MY1PASS protects you against hackers with a safe and comfortable password manager. At MY1PASS no passwords are stored, they're recalculated every time (from your user name, the website name, and your master password). This makes the app more secure than other password managers available on the market. Therefore it's not possible for hackers to steal passwords from your mobile phone. Your individual (secret) master password never leaves the device and remains in your head. This also ensures that it is possible to restore your passwords if, for instance, your mobile is defect or lost. MY1PASS generates different passwords by a cryptographic method (PBKDF2 with SHA-256). So your passwords can be generated again at any time without a backup of the app in advance.
Easy and convenient to use
Create strong passwords for different sites (or anything else) with a single secret key, your individual master password. You need to remember only one password and MY1PASS calculates the needed strong passwords in length from 8 - 32 characters. Easy copy and paste functionality is available.

Secure File Manager
To calculate the passwords MY1PASS uses the PBKDF2 (Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2) function. This is a method to derive a secure key from a password. The calculation: password = base64 (PBKDF2 (secret, username @ url)) PBKDF2 used SHA-256 encryption with 5000 iterations.
Important: Don't forget your master password. There is (currently) no way to recover or re-calculate the master password.

Question: How can I manage multiple accounts or count up passwords?
Answer: The easiest way is to add numbers at the end of the user (e.g. "John.Doe_1"). By changing the number the calculated password will differ.
Question: How long should my Master Password be?
Answer: It is recommended to use a long password, e.g. whole sentences are a good choice (e.g. "LikeIceInTheSunshine").
Question: Is the input case sensitive?
Answer: Yes, the use of uppercase and lowercase letters at all inputs (master password, user name or website) generates different passwords. Also, special characters and spaces will have influence.
