Monorrail es básicamente un navegador de internet. Pero a diferencia de otros, una vez establecido el dominio (de tipo nombre.ext), no se puede acceder mediante clicks a páginas que no pertenezcan a este.Esto se traduce en que no se abren ventanas ni se puede navegar a otros dominios mediante clicks ni scripts, aunque esto tiene algunas excepciones ya que hay una lista blanca de determinados dominios accesibles (por ejemplo google.com o youtube.com) aunque la llamada se haga desde un enlace o desde un script.
Integra también el modo de pantalla completa para video permitiendo su reproducción en cualquier dispositivo.
¿Y cómo se usa?
Más simple que un anillo. Sólo hay que introducir la dirección en la barra de direcciones, arriba, y pulsar el botón de la derecha del todo para acceder a la página. En la barra de direcciones sólo quedará representado el nombre del dominio significando que mediante enlaces no se va a poder navegar por otro sitio.
Una vez cargada la página, el simbolo de favoritos, representado por una estrella, aparecerá en gris. Al pulsarlo, el dominio selecionado quedará almacenado en la lista de favoritos.
Para acceder a la lista hay que pulsar el menú superior izquierdo que nos permite el acceso a estos favoritos o su eliminación en caso necesario.
