1 ★forgotten, forgettable, and extremely incomplete. the proper buildings are not tied to achievements. the objectives "run out". there are no more things to do to earn the money required to build out and upgrade my camp. the last update was over a year and a half ago. why would I even consider putting money toward a game the developers have clearly forgotten about. the game presses are buggy.
2 ★This could be a good game, but unfortunately I will never know because after three days straight of being able to do little more than repair storm damage, just to have it storm and damage everything to start the cycle again. A good game requires challenges, this is true, but a good game also requires fun that offsets the frustration wrought by failing such challenges repeatedly through no fault of your own. This game fails to provide that fun, though fans of frustration will have a ball.
1 ★As many have said, this could be a great game, but there are too many problems. I love the graphics (perfect for mobile) and the interface works, except for the nagging (not necessarily IAP nags, but buttons too big and they shake to get your attention). Then, there are other unnecessary childish additions, like a free-spin wheel. Again, could be a great game, if it didn't take too long to build stuff and everything wasn't monetized. Another developer designed to fail due to short sightedness.
3 ★Love the concept. Def quite a few glitches. Tells me I don't have enough coins when I clearly do. No way of watching ad to get extra coins or anything else. Build times are outrageous. 16hrs for 1st comm center upgrade really?!?! Amount of wood gathered from 5 ppl is 5 but water is 20. Overwhelmed with tasks at one time. But again I love the concept. I hate those farming games this is kind of at your own speed idle game. But it def needs alot more thought out into the execution.
3 ★Uninstalled it after a few days. Feels like it's off balance if that makes sense? Like it was too easy to gain xp and level up, so I was at level 10 and still struggling with the level 5 tasks. Tasks pile up faster than you can complete them. My main source of rage quit was when the storage was too full for me to do *anything*. So I discarded some things only for the very things I discarded to become necessary for the next request. It's trying to make me frustrated so I'll spend in-game currency but if that's how you're going to force me, I'm out.
2 ★Great start. Game looks great. But 90% of the game is "collect wood" over and over. Everything needs it, and you will need to manually collect it dozens of times a day to produce basically anything. Also, constant storms mean half your people are in a constant loop of building repairs. Overall it was worth a look, but the gameplay gets old and repetitive really quickly.
4 ★Fun while it lasted. The game is horribly unbalanced. You fly up levels and are asked to make items you have no hope if making, then you start making items faster than the quests come. It finally broke and stopped giving me campfire quests. Now I'm making things just to throw them away. Oh... and its not a decoration if it's required to build things... looking at you smoker house....needed for smoked salmon.
3 ★I love this game. The graphics, the game play, and everything in general. Ive only been playing for a while and so far it always entertains me but it often freezes and wont start up again until I exit the app and come back to it. Im using my laptop to play the game and it can't run five minutes without freezing and me having to start it all over again. I tried playing it on my mobile device and it was pausing even more. Im not sure if this is common thing but it is very annoying.
2 ★I had this game on my phone a few years ago. Recently downloaded it again and could not recall why I uninstalled it in the first place. Now, I remember. The length of time for upgrades is insane! It takes 10 settlers to make an expedition last only 1 day (1 settler takes 5 days), but I can't spare 10 because to upgrade the community shelter to make room for more than 10 settlers takes an entire WEEK! Sure, you can speed it up with NuBucks, but you need a ton and will obviously have to purchase.
4 ★Generally a good game,really enjoying it. Have noticed that some tasks,like tree removal, take a lot longer than game says they should as timer appears to stop, randomly, when game is idle. This is very annoying if you have waited 5 hours for woodland removal, only to find the game has done nothing. Otherwise, its a great free game.
1 ★I would be selfish to give this game zero star. There is no guidance in this game. Free players will get bored in the first hour of the game. No source to earn coins, no logic in this game. Just to fetch one bucket of water with one villager, it takes 30 minutes, with 5 villager 1 minutes. In order to clear the first forest, it takes two days. This is just the problems from starting. EDEN should not be made free in playstore. It's price should be of atleast $5.
5 ★I wasn't sure if I would like this game. However, i am enjoying it very much. I've read other comments about the gameplay and how things don't move as fast time wise. Or how long it takes to rebuild buildings if a storm comes. However, thats the point of the game. To experience what it would be like if you had to start from scratch. So great job developers! I do wish that the additional settlers would wash up when another area becomes available, instead of buying . It would be more realistic .
