Turn-by-turn navigation on your bikes dashboard has been introduced for the KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE S and R (MY 18,19 &20), the KTM 790 ADVENTURE (MY19 &20), the KTM 390 ADVENTURE (MY20) as well as KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT (MY19 & 20) & KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R (MY20) (Owners of 2017 KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE S & R can also benefit by having the cost-free software upgrade installed and activated at an official KTM dealer.).
Connecting a Bluetooth-enabled Smartphone means more than just co-ordinates and directions. Trips and routes can be saved and loaded for repeat use to allow for forward-planning, and an offline mode means a specific map can be downloaded and used without consuming mobile data in roaming. KTM dealers and the network for servicing and assistance come as custom icons on the map.
Simply negotiate the ‘pairing’ process to make the phone and the bike ‘talk’ to each other and the information can then be relayed. The App transmits turn-by-turn guidance, the distance to the next navigation point, the street name and the arrival time/distance to the destination. In addition, audio guidance in various languages and offline maps are also available.
KTM MY RIDE also allows incoming calls and music, displaying battery life and signal strength. All this data appears on the dash and can be managed with the mode switch, keeping your hands where they belong: on the handlebar.

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★phone and headset need to be paired everytime I start my bike. Turn by turn is ok they should not have built their own app and they charge for. It doesn't work. When trying to get direction I need to enable highway and toll roads if you don't there is no route found error. Poorly thought out app and feature.
2 ★Navigation works on 1290 s but it's pointless paying for something that's just showing the direction. I can't skip music or answer phone calls because I ride with earphones (bike ask for Bluetooth headset) .... I thought it was worth it but I'm better off listening to music and Google maps in the background telling me where to go..... Such a waste of money
5 ★It was about time I upgraded my review because all issues from my previous one have been solved. The app is convenient and the link to the display works without problems now. Sometimes the navigation gets it wrong, but this happens with all systems.
1 ★Freezes every single time I use it, requiring a stop and reset. No other navigation app I use does this. Phone also gets very hot using this app. Has shut the phone down on a couple of occasions due to heat. A big waste of money for me. Much easier to get a decent phone mount above the dash and use any other app instead.
1 ★KTM ruins their reputation with this. KTM needs to get a refund from whatever useless cad developed this navigation app. Here's a clue, a navigation app is supposed to give you directions from one place to another. This provides exactly the wrong direction in almost every use. Imagine replying on this on a long trip. I'm complaining to Google play about fraud in this case because it's just that bad. Do not waste $10 on this app. I have a brand new ktm adventure 790. This app is garbage.
1 ★Last for about 5 minutes and then it looses connection towards the app. Ive even let the app have full background activity without interfering with battery life saving stuff. Pretty useless currently, also worth noting that the maps itself is based on 'Here' maps. No responses when emailing the dev contact here on playstore to try and give more detailed feedback update: ended up going to the 1000km service and getting software update on the bike (KTM 790 Adventure) and still didn't fix above.
4 ★works perfectly on my Samsung galaxy s8 with ktm adventure 790. turn by turn shows up on my ktm dashboard. I haven't got the sound working through my scala rider headset yet however but that's probably my settings needing adjusted. my only complaint is that I wish it would give you a heads up of the turn after your next turn, as sometimes it's too slow if you have 2 turns one straight after another. but all in all working perfect for me
1 ★Malfunctioning a lot. Worked only once. Very disappointed! Problem with the app. The developer should fix the issues. It shows the preview but when i start navigation it'll show 0(zero) kilometres and no time of arrival. Please resolve the issue ASAP
3 ★We're getting there. So today my 1290 SAS had a service and there was a major software update done. The KTM My Ride function now works faultlessly, very well. Thank you KTM, all you need to do now is use a decent mapping platform. "Here" mapping has a latency which leads to confusion.
1 ★Terrible App, great idea, such a shame. wasted £7.99. started a 120km route after 3k it froze. pulled up and switched the bike off. everything disconnected had to repair packtalk and phone and restart app. after 5k it froze again. won't bother using again. how do I get my money back.
2 ★It will connect my phone and scarla for use with the bike controls, but the navigation is useless. It will not connect and display on my 2019 SAR. Better off with the free version and use google maps. Don't waste your money.
2 ★Base idea is great, but maps and routing done by the app is pointless. You can't choose winding road route ant the direction that comes up on ktms dashboard are laging. Routing is also questionable. App should improve directions speed on the dash and use something like google maps, tom tom or calimoto route engine.
