How to install KTM MY RIDE CONNECT APK on Android phone or tablet?

4 ★v1. 6.2: Finally things seem to work like they should. Getting call notifications. v1. 6.0: SHAME on the ones managing this app at KTM for their incompetence at fixing the issues associated with this app. The TFT display and its connectivity feature is one of the major reasons we customers bought the bike and we're just left hanging dry with half of the features that were promised not functioning. How difficult is it to fix a bug in the app and to maintain a good brand image? It's shameful KTM
1 ★Does not work as it should with Android 9. Motorcycle only shows phone battery and signal. Call notifications doesn't arrive. Google play music starts automatically as soon as I turn my motorcycle on. Cannot change tracks with apple music. With google play music, changing tracks or even volume means google play app will open up and then do its thing. Now my Duke 390's TFT console is just another fancy thing.
2 ★Doesn't work after sometime as when I try to change track, the phone does not take the command and when I unlock the phone and try, it starts working.. I use a OnePlus 6 with Android Pie August security Patch.. maybe it snoozes into the background.. please fix this issue.. also, if possible.. simple navigation like android auto can be introduced, will make the job easier..
1 ★"not connected" even though both phone and Bluetooth menu on bike state connected. no technical support from ktm via email or phone. bike is currently back at dealer. Edit: Dealer couldn't get it to work either. I eventually got connected without using the app. I have to repair the heasdset sometimes 4 or 5 times before it will start working. The app always shows 'not connected' even when it does work. It even works without the app installed. So i don't think this app actually does anything at all. And it requires A LOT of permissions.
1 ★Doesn't work with YouTube Music. Requires Google Play Music, which does not offer the same features as YouTube Music. And when changing song or pausing, it always opens play music, which is unnecessary and annoying because it minimizes any running navigation apps. And it should be possible to sync the time from the phone to the bike because the internal clock of the bike is total garbage (looses half an hour in one month!)

1 ★My bike says my phone is connected, my bike says its connected, my app says all permissions are ✔, but the app? Not connected. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and doing all kinds of stuff. 👎🏻
1 ★Only good about the app is that it lets you connect to the tft unit especially if it's an android device, otherwise no brains have been utilised. Within an hour of installing the app from play store, my phone goes dead and completely heated up, consumes so much of the battery. No doubt the duke 390 is a perfectly made bike, but KTM, please pay some attention here, all your tracks have not been covered. Would need to put in some RnD here as well.
1 ★I just bought a KTM 390 Adventure and followed instructions to connect but this app does not connect. I am using a OnePlus 7. Gave all permissions and tried multiple times but doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
1 ★Take forever to connect to the motorcycle. If you are lucky enough it will get connected by toggling between the screens few times. If not the only option is to unpair and start all over again. Paid close to ₹300000 for this motorcycle impressed by the features offered by TFT but it turned out to be like this. The Bajaj attitude prevails with the Service Center when tried to address these with them.
1 ★No 790 Adventure support. Phone connects to bike, but app remains disconnected. KTM shows no interest in solution, only marketing lies. Very disappointed. Android 10, updated app and phone.
1 ★I just bought the KTM 1290 SAS 2019. I followed all the instructions. Installed the app, have it all permissions on my Pixel 4 XL. Connected the phone via Bluetooth to the bike. But still the app is telling me I'm not connected. I find it sad and frustrating that KTM put huge effort into marketing this product and little effort in making it work easily.
