Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Can't log into it or the demo. Works fine on my computers. Trying to use it on my samsung tablet. Would't recomment it to my worst enemy
1 ★App does not work well on Samsung tablet. Does not open to full page. Page jumps around. Will not open the same article clicked on. Will not recommend to anyone.
1 ★Can not zoom large enough to read any article. App locks and jumps all over the place. Can not use this to read online paper.
1 ★Will not install correctly. Asks for login but does not provide instructions about how to set up login account.
1 ★Keeps saying there's no internet connection, app does not install correctly
2 ★Worked great for two days but now won't let me log in or select an edition. Much prefer this to browser for mobile if it will work!
1 ★Ask for log in with no way to estabolish a way to log in. Rather pathetic
1 ★Couldn't download the app.
1 ★Cannot open app, connectivity issue.😠
3 ★Unlike the Tampa Bay Times app, which required a paid subscription, the Tampa Tribune app appears to be entirely free. It's the same platform used on the Times app, best suited for tablets.
1 ★I installed it. It took over my phone after the first time I opened it. I realized I had to sign up to make it work, so I exited the app and it kept reopening over and over. Trying to force me to sign up. Not here and there, but so bad I couldn't even get to the screen to shut it down and uninstall it for at least a good 2 minutes of going back and forth from the app to my settings screen. Don't download! You'll regret it.
1 ★Can't find "register" page. Only"sign in". Don't waste your time.
