Description
Hand eXercises is een gebruiksvriendelijke app waarin hand-pols oefeningen voorgedaan worden die je direct mee doet. Je hoeft de oefeningen dus niet te onthouden. Het is een professioneel opgezet en goed doordacht oefenprogramma.Het doel van de oefeningen is om de hand-pols functie zo snel en optimaal mogelijk te helpen herstellen.
Het is voor mensen die een hand-pols letsel of operatie hebben gehad. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld een gebroken pols zijn of een operatie voor het carpale tunnel syndroom. Het gaat om de groep die van de behandelaar geen oefeninstructies hebben gekregen of alleen een folder met instructies.
Op dit moment is er een oefenprogramma voor na een operatie van:
- carpale tunnel syndroom
Binnenkort volgen programma’s voor:
- gebroken pols (distale radius fractuur)
- triggerfinger (tendovaginitis stenosans)
Later volgen nog meer programma’s voor andere diagnoses
De app is ontwikkeld door een handtherapeut en een handchirurg, die beide maar al te goed weten hoe belangrijk het is voor een goede hand-polsfunctie om vroegtijdig te starten met oefenen.
Beginnen met handX is simpel:
- kies de juiste diagnose
- kies de juiste zijde (rechts of links)
- kies of je nog gips/verband om hebt
Daarna:
- wordt automatisch de juiste oefening getoond
- oefen je elke dag één of meerdere keren, je kunt gewoon mee doen met de getoonde oefeningen
- de oefening duren hooguit een paar minuten en je kunt deze overal doen
- je houdt je voortgang bij door je oefening af te vinken als je de oefening gedaan hebt
