Description

OVERVIEW

Great Ocean Road - Let'sGoToAU app is a self-drive trip based on our personal extensive travel experience around Australia. It has been tested many times to ensure that we recommend the best places to explore, where the roads are good and there's scenery to match. It follows a route that we’ve loved and offers a novel way to explore this popular destination.

Travel the Great Ocean Road and beyond and experience one of the Australian and world's most scenic coastal drives. See the towering 12 Apostles, iconic surf breaks and misty waterfalls. Discover a diverse array of things to see and do in the region, from outdoor activities such as surfing, scuba diving and sea kayaking to arts, cultural and heritage attractions. See monster waves at Bells Beach and laze on the golden sands of Lorne. Visit an important Aboriginal site near Tower Hill or spot shipwrecks near the charming fishing village of Port Fairy. Of course, you can't miss the Twelve Apostles - craggy limestone stacks rising majestically from the Southern Ocean.

No more reading, asking for recommendations and evaluation of different tour guides. All you have to do is to download this app, arrange the accommodation as per our recommendations, collect your car and go!

NOTES
  • * This app is a self-drive trip. In order to use it, install the base app first. The base app is free.
  • * This app is NOT a navigation app. Every point of interest that we refer to has its coordinates. To get a route to the point, simply use Google Maps (if there is a network coverage) or install any offline navigator (e.g. Maps.Me) and let it navigate you!
  • * Please also note that we are NOT a tour operator. We are not getting any commissions for places that we recommend to visit -- all recommendations are based on our extensive travel experience only.
  • * All our trips were created keeping in mind that you are a very busy person who probably has only 1-2 weeks to explore Australia. That is why our trips are short (from 1 to 7 days) and have only the best points of interest, ‘must-visit’ places plus some hidden gems to make your trip unique. Break them down or combine them to match your time-frame, arrival point and list of ‘must-see’ destinations. Weave between city, coast and wilderness or combine the Red Centre with the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef. Australia is a vast country, but with planning you can cover a diversity of landscapes in just a few weeks.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★The makes several claims in the description. But to be clear what you get is a 3 day itinerary for the great ocean road. Not customisable. Similar thing available online for free
5 ★Very useful app. It has a detailed 2-3 days self-drive trip route, which can be shortened or extended (if you need). Works offline, no hidden ads, just the best of what Great Ocean Road has to offer. Every point of interest has a photo, detailed information and coordinates - very useful, as we used Google Maps for navigation. Highly recommend it!
5 ★Perfect day scheduling and as the activities are carefully planned until 5.00-5.30 p.m. you still have a chance to spend more time at a particular spot. Can be challenging though with the young kids on board. In that case the best option would be to select just a few sights from the list, tick them off and probably come back to the rest next time:). Anyway you don't need to spend your time searching the Internet for the best places to visit on your route, that's done for you.
