4 ★I am giving this App 4 stars for general functionality, but would have liked the option to specify the default landing screen. Currently the default landing screen is the messenger function. I would rather want it to be the directory or dialpad. Counterproductive to tap the menu shortcut and select the dialpad every time I want to make a call. Would also like to be able to access the directory directly from a link or search button on the dialpad.
1 ★Do not get this update. Big big problems. Cannot access my contacts, home page is always your call history screen (why not dial pad or contacts), you have to swipe screen the select dial pad to make a call. Very very poor app, the old version was great. Our whole company is having the same problem. Might be time to dump this and return to normal calling
1 ★Seriously frustrating app to use. Will randomly decide my password is incorrect even when I'm using a password manager. Password reset functionality is broken. When attempting to reset my password, I put in the new temporary password, am asked to enter a new password. I do this using the correct format, then am given the error unable to reset password. This has happened to me multiple times in the last year. Have to call Spark support almost every time. Also locked me out of the admin account for too many failed login attempts on the first attempt. You get passed around to about 3-4 representatives before finding anyone who can help. Would not reccommend. Cannot wait for Microsoft teams voip.
2 ★It's currently very difficult to use on Android devices. Each screen has reverse contrast in that the text displayed is grey and the background is close enough to grey that the text is lost and barely visible. As a business user, this makes it very frustrating to roll this out knowing th updates have to be pushed by spark and then verified by Google before finally coming down to users. Support staff have been notified on numerous occasions saying a fix is coming yet no updates ever come down to the app itself. Disappointed especially since the marketing and tutorials all have iPhones shown which aren't affected by this issue. Android I would imagine caters for a much larger users base than iPhone amongst smaller businesses, so one would imagine the support for this OS would have a higher priority. Hopefully an update is actually on the way or it may be a case of moving to a different voip provider 😕
2 ★Ability to change cloud app ring tone would be really useful when your part of a Hunt group using mobile app to separate from regular mobile calls. Can this be in next update.
