L'arresto cardiaco, evento frequente e drammatico quanto improvviso, deve essere affrontato immediatamente e in brevissimo tempo; può colpire chiunque tra uomo o donna, tra giovane e anziano, tra atleta o sedentario.Il progetto "Cuore Nostro" vuole porre le condizioni per tutelare i cittadini e le istituzioni dell'arresto cardiaco creando sensibilizzazione alla prevenzione della cardiopatia ischemica, causa prima dall'arresto cardiaco, attraverso l'individuazione e l'organizzazione di luoghi da cadioproteggere, con l'obiettivo di ridurre la mortalità da arresto cardiaco.
Per queste ragioni il nostro obiettivo è diffondere nella comunità la cultura dell'emergenza, sensibilizzando istituzioni e cittadini a svolgere un ruolo decisivo nell'intervento di primo soccorso in attesa dell'arrivo del 118, quindi potenziando il numero degli strumenti salvavita (DAE), facendo aumentare i soggetti capaci e motivati alla defibrillazione, creando delle mappe per ogni territorio con le zone cardioprotette ove censire tutti i DAE con la possibilità di calcolare in tempo reale, attraverso la geolocalizzazione, il percorso più veloce al raggiungimento di quello più vicino.
