これは壮大なラストサーガにおける、アルディア王国興亡を描いた序章である。〜STORY〜
これは遥か彼方、エルドアという大陸の物語。
小国のアルディアを一代で大国へと躍進させ、東の覇王と呼ばれたルトリウス王が急逝した。
それから間も無くして、皇太子も謎の死を遂げ、第二王子のアーウィンも何者かに襲撃される。
命の危険を感じたアーウィン王子は夜陰に紛れて逃亡。その後、第三王子のローディスが王位継承に名乗りを上げた。
アーウィン王子の失踪から３ヶ月・・・
ローディス王子は、先王ルトリウスと皇太子は乱心したアーウィン王子によって殺害されたと断定。ついに王子討伐の命を下したのだった。
