A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★App stopped working with Survey123. ESRI support comfirmed that other external receivers except Trimble devices work.
1 ★Look at the "What's new": Now requires a separate update of GNSS Direct. When starting the GNSS Status app today it notified me that this GNSS Direct was required to run GNSS Status. Really? So now I have two extra apps that are sucking battery just so I can use Terraflex. Now I get a whopping 4 hours of survey time when I used to go 10-14 hours. (I use a GS6 in airplane mode with all other apps stopped). These two apps account for the majority of my battery drainage while my partner with an iPhone 7+ does not need these apps and ended the day with over 45% battery remaining (after my phone died). What is going on Trimble? This is the 2nd time your "updates" have crippled my work flow. edit for Trimble response: I use an Android. I have been told for the last year that Android's require GNSS Status to hold the mock-location values because Terraflex can't do it.
1 ★Will this app ever be able to work with an R8 receiver?
3 ★Why is this the only app that connects to the r1 receiver?.. The accuracy with SBAS is adequate but I need decimal degrees & waypoints.
5 ★Good to see Trimble Apps as sweet as this one.
5 ★Works great on Galaxy S3 and Dell Venue 8 tablet
5 ★Easy to use!
5 ★Works well
2 ★We are using the latest version of the GNSS Status app (3.0.2) with a Trimble R2 receiver, KeyNet real-time correction service, and ArcCollector for field asset collection. The app used to work well, but ever since the redesign at 3.0 it is extremely unreliable. The app no longer remembers the connection to the receiver or the correction service automatically. We have to manually reestablish these at the beginning of every collection session, sometimes multiple times during the session. This greatly reduces efficiency. And once connected, it now takes much longer to achieve *and maintain* the ~2 inch accuracy we used to get routinely (accounting for weather and other physical factors). Does Trimble plan to address these serious bugs in the near term? To reiterate, the 2.x version of the GNSS Status app gave us no problems.
3 ★When I start my phone up, my location accuracy is around 15 ft. Connect to my R2, down to 3 ft, great. However, every time I disconnect from the R2, my phone location accuracy shoots up to a minimum of 100 ft accuracy, sometimes up to 1.5 miles, and it is very slow to refresh. I can't use my navigation with that accuracy, and the only fix is to reboot the whole phone, which then brings it back down to 15 ft accuracy so I know it's not just where I am. Please resolve this issue, I am on a Samsung Galaxy S7 if that helps. Also I agree with the other users that having to install GNSS Direct as a separate app now is annoying and battery-draining.
3 ★If using an external GPS via WiFi this app will not recognize or connect. External GPS/GGNS such as Stratux will not work with this.
5 ★Easy to use and reliable. Just what you want in an app!
