Surah TaghabunSurah Al- Taghabun has 18 ayaat and it was revealed in Madinah. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (Sal Allaho Alehi Wasallam) that the person who recites this Surah will be safe at the time of his death. Sūrat at-Taghābun (Arabic: سورة التغابن, "Loss, Deprivation") is the 64th sura of the Quran with 18 verses.[1] As it opens with the words of glorification of God, it is part of Al-Musabbihat group. The theme of this Surah is an invitation to the Faith, obedience (to Allah) and the teaching of good morals. The previous Surah Al-Munafiqun was about hypocrisy and the lack of Iman. This surah is discussing the opposite of that.
Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that if a person recites this Surah in the faraa’idh (compulsory prayers) then on the Day of Judgement this Surah itself will intercede on his behalf until he is allowed to enter Jannah. It is also narrated that one who recites this Surah will be protected from the tyranny of the rulers.
