1 ★Updated review: 6 months later, and this app is worse. Glitches galore, unable to save programs consistently, unable to organize exercises, unable to filter searches and they disappear from search, too many network error notices, saved programs disappear. This coming from NASM is an embarrassment in our industry. Get with the game!
2 ★I was excited to get this app to be able to go paperless. Then it said $25/mo. As a NASM CPT CES FNS, I was hoping it would be a free use for us. Unfortunately it has a monthly fee. i have found other apps for 1/5the cost of this one and they do the same thing but all you do is buy the app. NASM I would like to see this app free for people who have completed the guided study program or include this app as part of your program cost.
1 ★This was a complete waste of time I was redirected through a site that had absolutely nothing to pertain to health 0 Stars. I even doubted myself at first so did the exact same steps from another phone. Best of luck with your business but a piece of advice, be straightforward.
1 ★First, a lot of NASM recommended exercises are not in the app. Like Ball squats and Ball chest presses. Once you edit the workout and back out it will remove exercises you just put in. So I have yet to put a complete workout in the app for a client. It's a cool thought and idea, but a very incomplete app and shouldn't have been released yet. It is not a functional app. I can't imagine relying on this for a client. Also doesn't upload changed reps, sets, and rest time to specific exercises.
2 ★App shows promise but very clunky. Too many bugs and crashes too often. Custom made programs do not show up as an option after spending almost an hour navigating through the app creating them. App should allow for user to enter excercises not found in library. At this price point there's better options.
1 ★It is advertised to have 30 day free trial, was charged 23 days before it was supposed to end. Called costumer service and they did not help out what so ever and said they had just changed the trail date.... while still in the description it says 30 day free trial.
3 ★Exercise Library: The library needs to be updated to include TRX suspension exercises; more cable machine exercises like core rotation, bicep curls, etcetera; and hip ab/adduction machine exercises. Why are they missing from the library? Was it an oversight, or an intentional omission? Scheduling: Is inflexible, making it inefficient, which is ultimately counterproductive. Scheduling should be completely customizable, without having to re-enter all variables.
1 ★Have subscription and cant acesss it. Emailed support and havent heard anything back. If you arent going to help then I want a refund. When the app works its good. But other then that its pretty basic. Hate doing this because I am a trainer through NASM. Tries to get support the last two days and have not received a response emailed customer service and nothing.
1 ★I enrolled for the $25 per month, and as soon as I paid, the application would not let me sign in saying there was a sign in error. It told me that in order to continue, I would need to purchase the premium membership, which I already had. So, I press the link and it says that I am already signed up and paid for the premium membership and that in order to continue, I must sign in. It has been two months now and I've sent two e-mail looking for help with no response back.
2 ★can't log into my account. I even tried to reset.my password and it says I need a subscription even though I have already joined. Too bad because I liked where this app is going. It is useless if I can't log in!!!!!
1 ★Saves your changes when it wants to, wastes minutes of your time when it decides not to. Those minutes become hours and eventually you'll be working for basically free. NASM, fix this app or step aside please. Uninstalled.
3 ★I would like to change my subscription to the monthly rate of $25 from the old quarterly rate of 129.95. Per Google, the Edge App does not have that ability. Deal breaker for me ... Will have to cancel if not resolved by 11/18.
