Proofup es una aplicación que ayuda a prevenir y actuar a padres e hijos ante situaciones de ciberbullying.Actualmente la utilización de Proofup es un servicio vinculado a la contratación de un seguro de Ciberbullying de DAS Seguros.
¿Cómo funciona la app?
- Los padres o tutores se bajan la aplicación.
- Crean su usuario e invitan a sus hijos a descargarse la aplicación. También pueden invitar a otros tutores.
- El menor ya tiene la app en la que podrá subir y registrar archivos de imagen, video o audio que muestren situaciones de acoso de las que puede ser víctima.
- Los padres o tutores tienen acceso a los archivos subidos y registrados por el menor y puedan tomar las medidas de protección necesarias.
La aplicación sirve para toda la familia ya que se pueden dar de alta tantos usuarios “responsables” (padres o tutores) y “protegidos” (menores de edad) como sea necesario en cada familia.
La aplicación incluye:
- Captura de la situación de ciberacoso. El menor puede grabar con la app un mensaje o conversación que le haya llegado a su móvil, una foto o un vídeo que hayan subido de él en las redes sociales, etc. Cuando el menor graba con la app la situación de ciberacoso, el archivo de vídeo, audio o la imagen llega a sus responsables. Si estos confirman que el archivo que ha grabado su hijo es acoso, el archivo se enviará a un asesor legal quien valorará cómo actuar para evitar que la situación se complique.
- Geolocalización constante del menor por parte de los padres o tutores. Si el menor tiene activada la función, el padre o tutor podrá localizar el dispositivo del menor y conocer su ubicación exacta.
- Botón de Alerta. Si el menor estuviese en peligro, la aplicación tiene un “Botón de Alerta”. Al activar la alerta, los padres reciben el aviso con la ubicación exacta desde donde se está dando la situación de acoso.
