3 ★I thought it was a glitch. You are having ads play before daily prayer? Please change this! Very annoying to hear an ad before you pray! Whose idea was that?? If this continue,I will have to lower stars and uninstalling.... Update: 7/14/23 They have made the correction/change and there are no more ads before prayer segments. Thank you! Update: 7/25/23. The app reset my prayer day county at 171. I didn't miss a day,so it glitched some how. I probably won't start again,as it might reset again.
1 ★No matter how many times I change the notification settings I still receive too many push notifications. It was the latest. And, I reached out to your help desk several times. I followed all instructions given. I will not use this app again, nor do I recommend it to others. Update: 10/27/2020 Why am I still getting text messages from this app? You guys send way too many!
1 ★Would not recommend. I was unable to cancel within the 7 day time frame due to hospitalization. AS soon as I saw the charge, I emailed. No response. Emailed again - no response. Chatted with them and was told to sign-on. Great - but no way to cancel. When I did review the service it was very "low budget" and sadly uninteresting. When I said I wanted to cancel I was offered a year for $19.99 instead of $59.99. Interesting, huh?
5 ★A friend shared a prayer from this app one day I loved it so much I downloaded the app. I enjoy the prayer meditations, podcast, the Bible in a year and now book summaries. The Bible in a year- I didn't care about how long it took but the stories are so engaging, it's nice to be able to read along now as well. As someone mentioned you can email them with questions and they respond. It's nice to see the development as they keep adding new features.
1 ★Apparently since I signed up for the free trial online, I can ONLY access it online and not through the app. Every time I try to sign in through the app with the email I signed up with, I get the error message that 'that email is already in use'. I know it is.... by me! I already got charged for it online and didn't plan on doing so, but since I've already been charged $49.99 (which caused an overdraft on my account as well, btw) I either want a refund or to be able to access the app. Help!
5 ★I've been reading/listening to the dairy prayer for over a year and it does not register correctly. This time around, I've been on day 3 for a week, even though I read/listen to a different prayer every night. Just a small glitch. The important thing is reading scripture everyday and why I gave it a 5! Update: 9June2022... Great job on fixing the bug issue of keeping track of the days in app/prayer! Love it! God bless 🙌
1 ★Very disappointed. I love Mr. James Earl Jones' voice and was looking forward to listening to him specifically but unfortunately it is locked within the app. I would have only a 3 day free trial then have to pay after that monthly. Youversion is free. I have uninstalled this app until more features (especially the one that brought me to the app to begin with) is free.
3 ★Not much direction on proper use of the app is provided. I enjoy the morning and evening prayers with the scriptures. Many times the prayers are repeated, with mostly with the same guy speaking. Occasionally there is a lady. On times when I did try exploring I found that most of the things I attempted to use required additional fees so that was kind of a turnoff.
5 ★Wonderful resource for connecting people with local ministries and online prayer communities. Daily Scripture-based guided prayers are so helpful and centering, even in free version. I upgraded to the paid version when it was on sale, and now I also enjoy the nighttime Bible stories for winding down. Only improvement would be if the "Study Music" playlists would play more than a few tracks without stopping. Such an uplifting app!
4 ★The narration is fair, diction is perfect, but from my experience listening to many many audio programs, the speed of voice, on the bedtime stories is just too too slow.. Having listened every night 🌃 for many weeks now I have adapted to the voices, they work well, and I talk asleep now often before the end of the story… bittersweet, but awesome… !!!
3 ★I tried it for the test period. The app itself is fine with a wide variety of activities, bedtime stories, meditation and much more. There is so much variety that sometimes it can loose focus. The primary reason that I didn't keep it was, from what I could tell, it uses the King James version exclusively. While I grew up with KJV, it hasn't been my primary version since the NIV was released in the early 70s. I now find the KJV archaic and difficult to understand.
5 ★I saw an add for this on Fox News Channel. It looked good enough to try it out. I paid the subscription and it was well worth it. There's a wealth of information, different sermons and lessons. The one thing I like is the narrated bible stories geared for bedtime, it'll put you to sleep while learning at the same time. One knock I have on the app is the music player, sometimes it will play the next song and other times it won't. Could be something on my end but other than that it's 5 stars.
