4 ★I would give it a 5 star however there are a few minor technically glitches that can be annoying sometimes. Also as it's a free service, I have presume that I am the product and it's not very clear what they do with my info, saying all of that though, it has some great shows like joe rogan and the WAN show and for me it has been a great way to get off of youtube plus I can download podcasts and listen to them at work where there's no wifi.
3 ★Okay overall but some of the podcasts are not up to date. Ayaan Hirsi Ali podcast for instance. Spotify has her recent episodes that are not available on Podbean. Could be doing better. /// Did the refresh - nothing changed. Latest episode shown is still Mike Pompeo from April 1st.
2 ★While driving to work I laurel to podcasts. Every day about 5-10 min after departure the app will revert and replay what I just listened to. Sometimes it will just stop playing even with good connections. Will search for a stable alternative.
4 ★Almost perfect. I've been struggling to find a podcast app that has the features I want AND actually works consistently. I haven't used this long enough to see if it works (loads episodes, search function works, etc) but it has almost all the features I want- can sort a show old to new. Can "batch edit". The only other thing I would love is to be able to filter a list to ONLY show unplayed episodes. It's so frustrating trying to scroll through a giant list to find what episode you're on.
3 ★Great content selection. But it still randomly stops for no reason. I understand it pausing when I'm doing something else and it has sound pop on (like, when I'm scrolling thru Instagram) but I'm talking about stopping. So I have to go back onto the app, back to the list of episodes and tap on it to continue listening. Samsung Galaxy A10E. Add-on: I don't download episodes - I just listen.
5 ★I first heard about this App, after watching an interview with Gary Jubelin. He was speaking about his podcast, I Catch Killers. I love listening to true crime, so when he said how I could listen to his series, I downloaded it straight away. It's definitely a great App.
4 ★Love this app. Convenient with a great collection of podcast. However, I'll like to be able to sort by popularity or name for the podcasts. So 4 stars for now. When I select a category for example comedy fiction, it'll be nice to sort the podcasts by popularity or newest.
1 ★If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've used podbean for years and there's been a steady decline. I've contacted support numerous times for issues such as missing episodes, episodes that refuse to rewind/fast forward ( they blame the podcaster for that ) and a few other issues. The support is virtually non existent - I either get snarky responses or none at all.
1 ★This app has become basically useless. The episodes jump back and forth anywhere from 30 secs to a full minute and is never consistent. I stop the episode, rewind to before the issue, kill the app, clear the cache then restart and it continues to do skip around. It was doing it on my old phone (LG v30) and my new phone (Samsung s20). I give up. Time to find a new podcatcher.
1 ★Default settings need to start off BETTER.. Won't give this any higher rating until they put the SETTINGS BUTTON on the main screen instead of burying it... Unless you can change the default settings you will suck up data like a vacuum. Other than that it's fine.
3 ★Previously 5 stars but recently downgraded due to the fact that I can only scroll through like ten episodes before having to "tap to load more". Fix this problem and the stars will go back. Edit: thank you for fixing the scroll. Adding stars and buying the subscription. Edit #2: even after buying a subscription I still get bombarded with ads and they can't seem to do anything about it. Currently trying alternatives.
5 ★Loving this app. Really easy to use great audio that I've heard so far. I do wish I could play the podcast in order from oldest to newest instead of newest to oldest.
