Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Only had it a few days and it works quite well so far. The automatic weight input feature is awesome, conversations between coach and group are easy, it's intuitive, & good control of email or push notifications. There are a few features I wish it had... 1, Ability to edit comments from the app - can only do it on the website at the moment. 2, Set own weight goal (within reason) - i.e. range of 5 to 10%, not 5% fixed. 3, Forum format for group conversations instead of cluttered facebook scroll.
3 ★Love the program, however lots of trouble with the app. Stuck in the update loop for a day, but good once I restarted my phone. Today, however, the app isn't communicating, so had to uninstall. But now, it won't finish downloading. Tried 3 times, restarted twice in between, but it's stuck on 97%. PLEASE get this resolved!! ...Update: finally installed, but "could not connect to network", so can't even sign in.
3 ★Like the content the app captures. I wish the food tracking was better. example: it lets you log your food but because it has no database to find specific foods it also doesnt provide any nutritional content ie: sugar sodium, carb, fat intake. You have to use other apps for that like My Fitness Pal so its annoying to track what you eat twice. I like the scale provided & the ability to track your weights and orogress. Like ability to link step tracking devices like Fitbit.
3 ★The daily entries are quick and easy, the food log focuses more on aiming for a healthy plate than other trackers that focus on the calories. The coaches and groups are helpful but my favorites have been the new quick and easy recipes. Jan 16 2021 update- The app update from Dec 23 has some sort of issue because my steps are no longer being tracked. I've tried all repairs (including uninstalling the app) but nothing works. I had previously rated this with 5 stars.
4 ★It does what it intends to do well. The app is very easy to use and the lessons are actually informative without being overly long. I like the Coach communication as well as Group discussions. I can't say it's honestly changed my eating habits but I like the health star rating for meals and the fact that we have to categorize something as healthy or not. THAT I do find to be a nice reminder of the quality of food I'm consuming. Overall I like it but don't think it's a weight loss miracle.
3 ★Good start, but not ripe yet. The shortcut widgets are nice. It doesn't crash or run too slow. Lots of unnecessary tapping needed to navigate the app. It reminds me to track meals even after I've tracked them. No dark mode‽ The notification for messages don't go away after viewing the messages. The suggestions that come up for food are not helpful and are what the faq says NOT to do. The group messages are not easy to browse and there is only one reaction "a heart" and you can't undo it.
4 ★I am enjoying the program, but the app could use some improvement. I'd like to be able to add multiple pictures for each meal, Because I might have more than one snack. Also periodically the group page or the tracking page stays blank and I have to restart the app. Sometimes it won't let me like a comment in the group, but that could be my screen.
4 ★I really like the app, this is a component that similar programs I have done are missing. The few things I think they could develop further are: the food tracker doesn't provide a ton of specific options, I don't think there is a way to edit comments you post on the forum and lastly I wish it was compatible with my Samsung watch to track activity.
3 ★several issues, passwords do not seem to sync between connected devices such as tablet, mobile, and laptop rresquiring multiple password resets. Since the password cannot be seen, it is impossible to know if the password that I keyed in has a typo. The keyboard is managed by the ap and is too tiby for adult fingers. In tracking food, many times when I try to click on a previous word to edit the ap ends my input. This causes mw to delete all of my input and start over; maddening! There is more...
3 ★Since I started using this app four months ago, some nice improvements have been made. There are still several that I would like to see. When typing in the group and with Coach, it would be nice if sentences would automatically start with a capital letter. My scale is not linked to my account. It would be nice if that was fixed. I do like that the meal tracking has common foods that I log pop up as suggestions based on what I start typing.
4 ★Love the Omada App. I compare it to a WW app, and the one thing I prefer is that I get to type in my own food to track and not pick from a list of food options that most times do not apply. The app helps me to see my progress regarding my weight history, but not food history. It would be also good if it tracked my activity also. Those are the only 2 things I would like to see the app do for me. The fact that the scale updates the app directly when I weigh in each day is also awesome.
4 ★Interesting approach to healthy living. Doesn't track calories, just text description of food. Activity tracking is manual requiring a calorie number. Wish it connected to my Garmin for that. I like the scale updating automatically through a cellular connection. Just started using, so don't have a lot of experience with the coaching aspect.
