Description
A Tool to send Tracks and Waypoints to IQMapReceiver companion app of a Garmin device (Fenix, Epix, Edge)Data is provided from any GPX file or maping application (OSMAnd+ , Google maps locations)
Data is send over Bluetooth or Wifi (Edge) using the Garmin Connect Mobile Connect IQ platform: https://apps.garmin.com
+ tap on map location (google maps or OSMAnd+), or ceate a route with interim goals
+ (optional) adjust the namings
+ press share
+ when possible a course (track, blue) and a location file (red, waypoints) is created by the app
+ open IQMapReceiver app
+ (optional) remove elements by side swipe / customize coursepoint or waypoint icons
+ press start or menu on Garmin companion app / widget to browse the files list
+ navigate with Garmin Device (e.g. Epix watch) using the new tracks, waypoint(s)
+ new Up-Ahead feature is supported when coursepoints are included in a track and proper symbol types are set
