Description
GoIV is an open source application that allows you to get IV data from as quickly as possible without cheating.It can also predict how strong monsters will become after evolutions and power-up, and create custom nicknames for your monsters based on their data.
GoIV is open source, and contains no ads, and doesn't sell any of your data. It's developed by community members for fun. The only data gathered by GoIV is anonymized crash data so we can continue developing and fixing problems.
Please note that there are a few one-time-only setup steps you need to do the first time you launch the application:
* Input your trainer level and team
* Accept the permission for Overlay, Storage, and Screen recording
* Run a 1-time Calibration on a low-evolution monster(such as the small green caterpillar )
The permissions requested are used for the following:
Screen recording: Used to get information from the game, so that GoIV can see information such as CP and level, which it needs to generate IV results. No recording is saved on your device, or sent to any other server.
Overlay-permission: Used so that GoIV has permission to show the UI.
Storage: For storing the OCR module that interprets the text on your screen.

Download GoIV (IV Calculator) APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).

5 ★Thank you Johan for this awesome really quick Checker ! I've used Calcy IV and tried a diff one but they are too slow and kept crashing my phone . I love how you can edit and paste calculation soon as your app automatically checks the IV . You have made my life easier haha . oh it wouldn't check the Combee pokeman but worked it out it was saying the sec evolved name 😂 but I edited it on ya app and obv put the correct name because it's not going to evolve to sec stage at all yet unto Ninatic doit
5 ★Works well! Compared to PokeGenie: Pros: Faster, can export data, open source, you don't have an orange dot floating around your screen all the time, no ads. Cons: Slightly worse at image recognition, does not automatically save your data
4 ★My absolute favorite iv calculator. Looking forward to the next update, the app seems to have trouble with XL candy and mega evolve candy
3 ★Update: It cannot estimate the level correctly. Missed by to 4 levels. Cannot use it now.
5 ★UPDATE: app is back to being awesome again!! Thanks! This app has mostly been fantastic and I appreciate their hard work. However recently the app has not been reading the CP very well. I'd say it's about a 40% success rate. It reads everything else perfectly!
5 ★4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 Does what you need it to, and is a minimal design (a perk imho). Remember to turn it off when you're done using it, since it's continuously reading your screen.
4 ★Pretty nice!! There's certain scenarios where even Appraisal can't help lock down exact IVs, though, and certain scenarios where it doesn't even scan correctly (so you have to adjust the slider and/or input the info yourself).
4 ★Love it but sadly not five star as i have to force stop if i want to "close" the app when i stop playing. even after i paused the feature, it still runs in the background. Would also be great if it had attack and defense grading in the name builder.
5 ★this apphas always ran more smoothly than others available for all 4 phones I've ran it on. until the update was released which added the ability to quickly and easily generate a nick name for the Pokemon based upon it's features, i always had to keeo another app like poke geanie or calcy iv on my phone just to fulfill that need. hands down, best iv companion app for pogo and has been since the days before it was available on the play store when you had to download it off the dev's github.
5 ★The best IV checker I've found. Simple to use, but full of in-depth features. The developers don't always update as fast as other checkers, but the quality of this one is worth the wait.
4 ★This app is very helpful. However, it often stops working and so it is sometimes inconvenient having to reboot (not sure if that's the proper vocabulary word I'm looking for-but you get my point).
2 ★I think this is the best IV calculator BUT! I have three phones with pokemon go. One out of my three phones installed this playstore version and the other two through apk instead. Last week, only the playstore one got a warning inside pokemon go that I am using a third party app and will be shadow banned if I use it again. I uninstalled the playstore version and installed it through apk. Works fine and no warning. I recommend EVERYONE to uninstall this playstore version and install the apk one.
