4 ★I have used Phyn for years and the app has gotten worse, not better, over time. V8.18.0 takes about 1 minutes to load which is about 5-6 times longer than prior versions. The app is great for detecting leaks and automatically shutting the water off - worth the cost of the system for this feature. It does this one function well, but gives no visual indication it has shut off the water when the app opens. Water use appears relatively accurate but shows usage for up to a minute after water off.
1 ★App gets stuck on "Introducing Smart IDs for Plumbing Check (PC)" regardless of what permissions are enabled. There is no way to advance to the next screen, making the app unusable.

5 ★bought a name brand initially and was very unhappy. It kept turning the water off when we were taking a shower or doing other things. This device has worked perfectly.

1 ★They tell you to pair your sensor by going to wifi and selecting the sensor network, at which point you lose access to your own network and the internet, and when you go back to the app, it says "offline." There is zero support for this obstacle online, anywhere. I mean, this process must work for someone, but it's useless to me.
1 ★Haptic feedback on every press is annoying. Should be an option. I frequently have to close the app to get it to refresh or load the latest info. AI/ML is not really working well. Mostly doesn't recognize uses correctly after 6 months of correcting it Other than that the app is fine. Good display of info and nice layout. Mainly good for monitoring only. Update: detection got much worse. I tried to get them to reset the learning but said no just keep renaming... 2 years later still renaming 85%
