The Spacetalk App connects to kids and seniors Spacetalk devices, enabling you to locate family members, communicate with them at any time, and manage settings that help protect them. The App connects to multiple devices, centralising your ability to keep track of your household.For parents of children with Adventurer or Adventurer 2 devices, the Spacetalk App enables:
- High fidelity video calls - utilising a 5MP camera and a 4G LTE network.
- GPS location tracking – visualised on an interactive map, with location history.
- Talk, text & chat – using a speedy 4G LTE network.
- SOS emergency alerts – be alerted with a call, an SMS and a location update from the app when your child activates the SOS function.
- Create safe contacts – kids only communicate with parent approved phone numbers.
- School mode – parents set up school schedules to keep kids focussed in class.
- Safe zones – parents can create safe zones around known locations and be notified when their child wanders from them.
- Feelings notifications – parents can check in with quick feelings requests.
- Activity monitoring* – parents can see their child’s fitness activity, including heart rate.

Subscription Details.
The Spacetalk App is free for device owners using the provided SIM card in Australia. For device owners using a third-party SIM card, an on-going in app subscription is required.
• Kids, Adventurer1 and Adventurer2 devices monthly subscription:
o AUD$5.99 (up to 2 devices)
o AUD$8.99 (between 3 and 5 devices)
• Life device subscription:
o From AUD$7.99 per month (1, 6 or 12 monthly options available)
Payment will be charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews each month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected subscription. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Google Play Account Settings after purchase.

4 ★Battery life on the watch is a joke. App is pretty easy to use, and you can copy the settings from the first child to the second child, then go back in and customise them for each child. I'm really happy I bought these, but the app still could do with the rewards list being able to be reset. At the moment, once all the rewards have been earnt, you can't just reset the list to start over - you can only delete the list and write the whole list from scratch. For each child :-| Otherwise great.
4 ★Some tweaks to the functionality would be great. Message inbox and outbox would help so child can see if their message has been delivered. Sometimes school mode doesn't work and messages don't vibrate but ring aloud. Delay in receiving messages can confuse the child if the timing doesn't fit. Sent time rather than the received time would help this.
5 ★I wish this was a free service for every child and would work off donating. I feel so confident and secure with our family using this app, every family should feel this way. A user friendly well presented app is easy to use and understand. No need for extra buttons or bells, just what is needed at your finger tips. Custom design certain areas and give it a real family feel. I'm looking forward to both my children using this app at the same time.
2 ★its a great concept but i had problem with getting location, problems updating, the battery was so bad constantly dying and in the end the watch would only charge to 33% and never charge anymore even if left on charge overnight. the app was easy to navigate around and set up well the problem is the watch. great concept for kids but needs alot more work especially for the price u pay on the watch and the monthly subscription. i returned my watch and got my money back.
1 ★so far a list of failures just keeps growing. gps fails to update. constant accidentall sos alerts. one accidental sos alert when my daughter first got the device trigured me to call her when she didn't answer i tryed to track her only to find the gps said she was over 100 kms away in Melbourne. contacts dont show up on the device even though they are clearly there in the App. consistantly showing no history. it is not worth the $$ it creates more stress then reassurance
4 ★I think you should consider providing more advice on which SIM cards to purchase, best value options. I found some info but it is confusing, not easy to find and quite technical. Considering the SIM is integral for your product to work and most providers' customer service models are geared towards avoiding human contact to answer questions, it is up to the consumer to hunt through forums and posts hoping to find answers.
3 ★Its a bit steep to charge for the app as we paid $250ish for the watch. To discover an extra $5.99 a mth to use watch with the app was sad.this doesn't include the approx $15 monthly for a provider plan.(You need data too). I Think this will be a short term thing. costings are about $500 for the first year, then after about $180 a year. Please consider removing the monthly fees as you made us pay for the product, or at least offer a cheaper yearly subscription for a fraction of cost.
5 ★Love the app although I liked it better before changing it, how do I change my payment option for my subscription now
3 ★The new app design is a massive step backwards from the old app. All the information was easily accessible at one glance on the old map. Now you have to go searching for battery level. Location history and is just not as intuitive. Is there any way I can roll back to the old app?.
4 ★I just downloaded the spacetalk app, can't add any contacts and app keeps shutting down. UPDATE: it took a day for the menu to show up under my son's profile to add contacts. So far so good. Apologies for abrupt review as I spent most of Christmas day trying to set it up for my son as he was so excited.
2 ★Bought this for grandsons Christmas..had to delay to his birthday ..end of Jan.. as we cannot add contacts the screens on tutorial do not match what we have...we are only able to access spacetalk app..no allmytribe....menu takes you to add device..select contact icon..nothing.always defaults to map. If this cant be fixed today its going back..other members of family all having same issues..so 4 watches going back.. very disappointing
1 ★when I 1st got this watch it was amazing and now after only 2 months of using it the battery just dies out only in a matter of few hours without getting a notification that the battery is low or that the watch is now turned off. it's not worth it's $$, i thought paying good bucks would be worth the money but it definately isn't.
