परमार्थ संस्थान एक गैर सरकारी संगठन है, जो पटना से वर्ष 2016 में निबंधित है।इस संस्था का कार्य क्षेत्र सम्पूर्ण भारत है।संस्था का प्रधान कार्यालय प.चम्पारण जिले के रामनगर शहर में है। अपने स्थापना काल से हीं संस्था अनवरत रूप से समाज सेवा में तत्पर है। वैसे तो यह इक्कीस बिन्दुओं पर कार्य करती है, परन्तु इसके प्रमुख कार्य शिक्षा का क्षेत्र एवं आपदा सेवा है। संस्थान द्वारा प्राथमिक कक्षा उतीर्ण कमजोर विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क कोचिंग कराकर मध्य विद्यालय की गुणवत्ता के लायक बनाया जाता है। दलित बस्तियों में एकल शिक्षकीय कोचिंग खोलकर विद्यालय अवधि के पूर्व उन्हें शिक्षा दी जाती है। सरकार के विद्यालयों में नि:शुल्क शिक्षण सामग्रियों का वितरण भी किया जाता है। एक दिवसीय कार्यशालाओं का आयोजन कर शिक्षकों को प्रशिक्षण देने का भी कार्य होता है।बाढ़,कड़ाके की ठंडी, अगलगी आदि आपदाओं के समय संस्थान द्वारा पीड़ितों की सेवा की जाती है। वर्ष 2017 में चम्पारण में आई प्रलयंकारी बाढ़ के समय बढ़ - चढ़ कर सेवा कार्य किया गया। भीषण शीतलहर के दौरान चौक - चौराहों पर अलाव की व्यवस्था करायी गई।
महापुरुषों की जयंतियों पर जयंती मनाते हुए युवाओं को राष्ट्र निर्माण हेतु प्रेरित भी किया जाता है।
संस्था ने शिक्षण कार्य करने हेतु दलित बस्तियों को इसलिए चुना कि यहाँ आज भी शिक्षा का अभाव है। विशेषकर डोम एवं मुसहर जाति के बच्चे आज भी विद्यालयों में नहीं जाना चाहते हैं। इन बस्तियों में शिक्षण संस्थान खोलकर शिक्षा का महत्व बताते हुए इन्हें शिक्षित कर विद्यालयी शिक्षा से जोड़कर शिक्षा के मौलिक अधिकार को सफल बनाते हुए समाज की मुख्य धारा में इन्हें जोड़ा जा सकता है।इन्हीं सोचों के साथ यहाँ सेवा कार्य किया जा रहा है।
संस्थान का लक्ष्य है कि गृह प्रखंड के सभी दलित बस्तियों सहित गृह जिले के प्रत्येक प्रखंड में 10-10 केन्द्र खोले जाएं।तदोपरांत अन्य जिलों में भी केन्द्र की स्थापना कर हीनभावना से ग्रसित इन बच्चों की सेवा का सुअवसर प्राप्त हो।
इन पुनित कार्यों में अपेक्षित सहयोग हेतु सदस्यों एवं दानदाताओं का संस्थान बहुत हीं आभारी है,जिनके सहयोग से ये प्रयास सफ़ल हो पाते हैं। समय- समय पर सदस्यों, सहयोगियों एवं दानदाताओं को सम्मानित करने की भी सोंच है। संस्थान के कार्यों में दिलचस्पी रखने वाले महानुभावों के सुझाव व सहयोग सादर आमंत्रित हैं।
