EMASESA, Empresa Metropolitana de Abastecimiento y Saneamiento de Aguas de Sevilla, ha diseñado una serie de rutas por la ciudad y su zona metropolitana para poner en valor los monumentos relacionados con el agua. Dichas rutas son ofrecidas mediante un nuevo canal de difusión que pone en valor el interés cultural e histórico de las rutas diseñadas a través esta aplicación gratuita llamada "Rutas del Agua" , así mismo se ofrece la ubicación de la fuentes bebedero de EMASESA próximas a las rutas.
Será objetivo de EMASESA, seguir ampliando el catálogo de rutas actual, incorporando todas aquellas que sean de interés dentro de la zona metropolitana donde EMASESA presta sus servicios o donde disponga de instalaciones.
Entre las funcionalidades de la aplicación móvil "Rutas del Agua", se incluye la visualización de forma sencilla e intuitiva del catálogo de rutas y visitas, incluidas las fuentes bebedero, mediante mapas y listados, la descarga de contenidos multimedia para su reproducción cuando no se disponga de conexión a internet y la utilización de geolocalización GPS para guiar al usuario en sus visitas.
