WHY DID WE MAKE THIS?
This app was designed by an MD pain specialist and PhD pharmacologist to help users with chronic pain create a comprehensive picture-diary of the different types of pain felt throughout the day. By keeping such a detailed diary, users can now see and better understand what they have been feeling and if the treatments being tried are helping them.

TRACK IT BETTER. TREAT IT BETTER.
Now you can distinctly track, map, and monitor the intensity, pattern, and extent-of-spread of at least 12 different types of pain on your mobile device, using patent-pending technology.

PAIN IS LIFE-CHANGING.
When you are suffering with pain, what you want is to feel better again and be able to explain to your doctor exactly how you feel.

Tracking your pain is important in treating your pain. When your healthcare team can see exactly how your pain changes over time, trends can emerge that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Pain is a complex sensation that can constantly change with varying intensities, textures, locations, and patterns of spread. This is especially true for individuals who suffer from a severe type of chronic pain called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

Nanolume® makes it easy for you to track, analyze, and map at least 12 distinct types of pain every day. By more completely knowing what types of pain a person is suffering with, such knowledge can be used to improve the basis upon which your diagnosis and treatment can be developed and/or adjusted.

PAIN IS DIFFERENT.
Pain is a subjective (not objective) sensation. Its assessment relies on the ability of a person to understand and describe what he or she feels (it cannot be measured using a medical device).

This app allows you to better understand, and explain and show to others, precisely what you feel every day.

FEATURES
For each diary entry (pain picture):
• Choose from a list of at least 12 uniquely different pain types; you can even add multiple types of pain.
• Select the intensity of each pain type.
• Use your finger or a stylus pen to "outline" the location where each pain type is felt; use the “DOUBLE-TAP-TO-ZOOM” feature to "loop" smaller areas of pain on your face, fingers or toes.
• App automatically calculates (estimates) the % body surface area covered (affected) by each or all type(s) of pain.
• Review every saved diary entry--visualizing each pain type separately or all together; swipe the body-image screen left or right to see how your pain changes with time.
• Add "Notes" for additional details.
• Miss an entry? Go back and recreate a "pain picture" from the past; use the "Calendar" icon to backdate the re-created entry.
• View a summary of your data in "Charts".

What's new in version 2.4.2

Nanolume now has the ability to export pain diary entries to PDF documents for easier sharing. The initial version of this feature includes all pain types and allows you to specify a date range. Future updates may expand this feature based on user feedback.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Warning: scam. It promises a free trial, but you have to sign up to a subscription before you can access it. There is then no way to cancel the subscription until it's taken a year's payment. The app does not perform as described, it doesn't layer pain types in the images. You get an email after they've charged you claiming you had agreed to forego your statutory rights (supposedly hidden somewhere), which is illegal.
1 ★Not free
5 ★I really like the high level of detail, percision and options to overlap different types of pain in an easy to use body map. It made it much easier for me to explain my specific pain to my doctor. Thank you Nanolume!
4 ★I think it is a great, amazing app that will help patients keep up with their info for their Dr's without carrying around a notebook. The only thing I would change is payment. The app should be free until you are ready to upload it to your computer to provide it to your drs.
5 ★I like this APP and wish all the pain management doctors used this so they can see what we encounter on a daily basis. It is easy to use. Only recommendation would be for the notes section to be more like a Word Document so the patient can type things and track what they eat and drink and how it effects them so their doctor would have a very good understanding of their condition.
5 ★Awesome APP. It's tailored to our needs. You can make notes and customize your own pain tab. My pain management doctor loves the pain and numbness charts and being able to see one or all layers and time of day helps him with my medication.
2 ★I downloaded it and I'm willing to pay for it.. however I'm unable to subscribe due to not finding the payment option. It takes me to a page but there is nothing to click on.. I really want this app.. once I'm able to purchase it I will come back and review it properly.. Update 1/1/18 So I helped the developer with figuring out why it wasn't working properly.. They asked me repeatedly to redo my rating.. So here I am redoing it.. I deleted the app.. Too hard to figure out how to use it.. I wasn't happy with it at all..
3 ★Is there a subscription with your paid app like there is with this one, and are there any differences? EDIT re: dev response. Monthly fee $1.29 & yearly is $6.49 but the other identical paid app is only one-time $3.99 which TBH is a sketchy way of getting users to pay more for the same thing. The app itself is one of the best pain apps I've used: feature-rich, performs well, and is easy to use. Fully recommend just buying the other one instead of this one if you have any kind of chronic pain.
3 ★Update: Yes, it was my mistake on the trial for that I take back the 1 star rating however, you are the first app with a reply that rude to reviews ive seen and I collect and test thousands of apps and softwares. You can't expect people to like your app if you accuse them of fake reviews, looks VERY bad on you! Mind your language please with your fanbase again only app ive seen who replies like that!
5 ★Excellent support by the developer. Great tool to share with pain management doctor. Highly recommend. R.N.
1 ★Shouldn't have to pay for it.
1 ★Not a free app
