2 ★I had no problems using the app until around a week ago. I even donated because the app was working so well and I was enjoying my experience.however,now it just says "Failure to loading livestream" most of the time. And the stream simply doesn't load and I have to use the normal twitch app. on the off chance that it does work I have to select "auto quality" in stream quality several times before it works. sometimes after doing this the stream will just stop and take me back to the app menu. :(
4 ★This is by far the cleanest app I've seen so far for twitch. The emote layout is clean but the list takes too long to get to bttv emotes. Make it so we can swipe left or right for a different category of emote like BTTV or Franker like how the emote category's work on Android/Iphone keyboards. Chat is faster than the stream hopefully that can get fixed next update.
4 ★I like the BTTV emotes, and somewhat less ads. My only problems are when you go landscape mode while chatting you cant use emotes and it pulls up a white screen, which blinds you at 2 am. You also cant click links, i would love to be able to click a link and it pulls up chrome or an in app browser like the twitch app. Also it would be really handy to be able to set Auto quality. 2 ★@orangemuffin, the embedded ads have been around for months. What I'm saying, is that even if I am subbed to a streamer, I'll still get ads. On the actual twitch app obviously you aren't supposed to and don't. So that entails a token problem within the app. Try looking into coding streamlink into the video player of the app. That will get rid of all ads. (It does on the PC). Please keep up the work on this app.
3 ★it functions... but doesn't allow you to @people for fast quick responses. doesn't give you the ability to timeout people as a mod. it's actually quite amazing for the average person if all you do is watch content on twitch. has a beautiful interface plus no ads. simply lacking features. will come back and check
5 ★This is my favourite twitch app with no ads and all the emotes. It is almost perfect but there's only one small problem, if the streamer is using low latency mode, the chat is too fast. Can you add a way to delay the chat or enable low latency on mobile which I don't think is possible now
4 ★One of the better twitch-alternative apps I've used. Lightweight and simple, runs well. A couple of things I would like - (1) A sleep timer which would disconnect stream/chat or close the app completely to stop excess data usage. I watch streams in bed and fall asleep often so this would be good. (2) Ability to browse channel sections/other sections of all with current stream still playing, just minimised (e.g stream goes to bottom 20% of screen leaving 80% for browsing).
5 ★Fantastic app, wish I'd found this sooner. Everything works silky smooth and has been thought through extremely well, also haven't experienced any freezing whatsoever (unlike some other apps). The only thing that I really wish was included, is BTTV GIF's, and also FFZ emotes! Would make the app even more enjoyable to use 👌
4 ★not great but better than the official twitch app. wouldnt say this is a barebones viewing experience, but it does seem a lot simpler and less cluttered than what the official app offers. ads are still a thing, but there are significantly fewer of them shown.
5 ★Great app, no ads, worked like a charm since the official twitch app sucks. But since the last 1 or 2 updates "Live followed channels" stopped working. Please fix (One Plus One, Android 6.0.1) Edit: Dev(?) answer fixed my problem, gotta give 5 stars now. Better than the official twitch app IMO
5 ★This is a great client, simple and does what I want. Chat in landscape, see everyone you follow, all the games you follow, and see past vods from people easily. The only thing really missing is being able to read a streamers profile page and chat in vods.
