5 ★I used to have an ereader but the app is all of that and more. Have my books always with me on my phone. Customer service is absolutely fantastic, can't really recommend better reading app. Well done guys!
1 ★This app really annoys me at times. The writing font and size is constantly different. I make the font bigger so I can read it, yet somehow the text stays tiny. I've repaired my account, done the uninstall and reinstall. This is an issue on YOUR end. Please fix it.
5 ★Great interface for your phone, and it has dark mode. There are some books here that I can't get anywhere else for the price. Easy to use and extremely handy. Combine the dark mode with the blue light filter on your phone to make it even easier on your eyes. Thanks Devs.
2 ★Unlike the fantastic physical ebook reader, this lacks control over the line height. That would be ok, but the default line height is so tight that it renders all text unreadable, regardless of the font selected.
5 ★Great alternative for anyone who doesn't want to support Amazon anymore and never cared for nook. In fact, I like Kobo better! It's less intrusive, and easier to navigate. There is still a storefront presence on the homepage but it somehow feels less interested in selling you something and more passive. Just my weird opinion I guess.

3 ★Accessibility text to speech stoped working. Please fix. Accessibility works with all my other apps so it's Kobo that broke not Accessibility. Adding a built-in text to speech function would be much better the using Accessibility.
5 ★Awesome app...doesn't have all the books I would like, but enough to keep me happy. Easy to use and has a dark mode option, which I prefer. Excellent customer service! I had an issue a few days ago that was fixed very quickly and to my satisfaction. Highly recommend.
2 ★The audiobook player constantly pauses playback, requiring intervention to resume. I don't have this issue with the IOS version, and it's not a hardware issue on my Android device, since Audible works fine on my phone.
3 ★Often frustrating as it is slow transitioning between audio books and ebooks. Sometimes have to restart the tablet for the play button to work. I would say it is the fault of the tablet, but I don't have the same problem with a free audiobook reader that I use.
3 ★UPDATE: Kobo acknowledged there's a known highlighting issue, but had no timeframe for resolution. Used to love this app, but not now. The latest update makes highlighting almost impossible. The app itself has degraded over the past year. Now we have to wait and see if it gets fixed. I used to love this app!
3 ★Easy to use, but often it doesn't save the page I've finished on previously and I have to go through book to find page to recommence reading. Also sometimes there is no list of contents on book. I assume this is on the author as opposed to the app itself.
