3 ★The app provides great information and I love that I can see progress that I have made. There are two major issues with that app that I have seen. One, it makes you log into the app every single time you open it. All of my other apps on my phone stay logged in, why can't this one? It's a pain to log in when I just want to step on the scale. The other problem is closely related to the first. Sometimes when I try to log in, I can't. It says network error. The only way around it is by clicking the button that says login using vesync and then it takes you to a webpage and log in from there. These issues definitely need to be fixed and then I would be happy to give it a higher star rating
1 ★I have been using this app with the scale for a couple of months now. The data the scale records can be seen in the app. I have noticed that the measurements made a couple of days ago are different than they were when measured! I know that as I am manually inputting them in a computer file for analysis. This makes this app totally useless as this is the ONLY thing this app does! Record and show data. How on earth can this change itself overtime is beyond my understanding.
2 ★This scale or app, can't tell which, is completely frustrating. It's been taking more than a half an hour every day just to try and get a reading. I've tried dozens of things; moving the scale, clearing my cache, rebooting the app and my phone, wetting my feet, wiping down the scale, removing and adding the scale back to the app and every flipping morning I need to weigh myself 12-15 times to finally get a full reading. Of course I have to wait for both the scale and app to clear before i can go
4 ★I like this app. It records my weight and has a graph that shows weight trends. Though it suits my purposes I can see after using this 3 months the extra data gained is likely taken from some database rather than the users actual body. I have been working on loosing weight/toning and am currently in a healthy BMI range but regardless of my efforts as my weight goes down, for example 0.6lbs, other stats go down in subsequently equal trends. The scale is great but the bonus data is just for fun.
5 ★This app works just fine with my Moto E4. I could care less about Google Fit as I try to steer clear of all things Google - except for my Android phone. This app does all that I need it to do: keep a daily record of my fitness measurements. I know what are the normal ranges for BMI & BMR so I don't need the program to tell me what they should be. This is the first scale I've ever tried that works in conjunction with a smart phone app. That alone is worth the price of this scale (which was only $20 on Amazon). I really like the scale even if the app didn't work as I would use it regardless. The fact that this app does work is icing on the cake. UPDATE: Aug. 2, 2019. I had a problem with the scale not reading my vitals after stepping on it due to having very dry feet. I solved the problem by placing a very thin layer of electrode gel on the four metal sensor plates and now it reads my values the first time, every time. Afterwards, I clean off the plates with a little rubbing alcohol. I do have a question for the developers. It seems like the percentage of skeletal muscle mirrors the percentage of body water every time. Is this an error in the software? Do you have an update?
3 ★This app is nice. I would like to give it 3.5 stars. It's a little clunky at times. I like a lot of the features but some could be better implemented. I also noticed a bug with goal weight. If I set my goal to 175.0, when I get to 175.9, it says that my goal is completed. Seems like a precision issue more than anything.
5 ★It looked like it wasn't working at first. I tried 3 times and my phone Bluetooth said it couldn't connect but the app recorded those three weigh ins plus the previous few weeks before I installed it. This app is Psychic, probably. Hopefully it keeps working, but even if it doesn't sync, you can still enter data manually to track your progress. It is a free app to help us fatties lose weight so if it has a few glitches I don't think that is the end of the world, but maybe that's just me.
2 ★Okay when it works - which is only about once a fortnight. Unfit for purpose when the main readon for using it is to regularly monitor changes in weight.
5 ★Does just what I wanted and expected! I get a reminder, that I set, to step on the scale every morning. I set up profiles for myself, my husband, and my 4 year old daughter (though her feet aren't big enough to reach all the sensors). I like that I can track my weight loss on the trends section and I'm more motivated to drink all my water because of the body water tracking. It's very simple and easy to use. I'm so glad I got this scale. Love it!
4 ★Edit: seems to be working now, 4 star till I'm convinced, but initial signs are promising. Brand new scale's. Just setting up the App. Let me set up the account then nothing. Try again, says "No network, try again later". Really disappointed! If things change so will this review.
5 ★So after a day of waiting and getting no replied. I decided to submit an email through their web site. As off this morning still no reply or updates. This afternoon I decided to give it another attempt. Well, I was surprise to see that everything worked. It is not a reading that I anticipated but close enough. So I change my vote from a 1 to a five for making this happen. What I bunch of silly people. There is a problem and instead they take coffee and hope people will go away. Well sooner or later this business will go under. So I am returning this scale and will get another, if I do not get a reply within 2 days from May 27-2020.
5 ★Very pleased with this app. Would like to even out the ratings as it works perfectly fine for me and was quite impressed with what information is provided. Yes it may not be amazingly accurate, but it does state that in the app, they're a general reading that can be useful for tracking your health.
