字魂遊戲中，加入30位文人才子 (女) 角色，各有其長 (特殊技能)，並有不同的裝備與道具可以為選擇的角色加添不同能力。在不同單元中，以玩家對戰方式、或以書寫、或以選擇方式答題攻擊以分出勝負。
