1 ★Honestly, the UI is pretty solid. The questions are all over the place, though, and I'm extremely disappointed with their new business model. The first game let you buy the ad-free version for I think four bucks, meanwhile it's five dollars A MONTH here. Sure, you also get other "perks," but those are pretty inconsequential. You spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game. Tack on that all the microtransactions laden throughout, and you have a shameless money grab.
2 ★Nearly every action you take on this game has you watch ads, and most of them are 30 seconds long. I tried the VIP subscription thinking it would remove all that, since it's a pretty steep price of 5$/month, and it only removed the 5 second ads at the end of each round, but kept all the 30 second ads everywhere else on the game. Realizing that, I canceled my subscription and uninstalled . This really is an ad watching game with some trivia. It's unfortunate as this would be enjoyable otherwise
2 ★I was excited about the game. Hubs and I both downloaded so we could play against each other. We loved the way tower mode played for the 6 times it worked right. The game started glitching I guess and would end our games before time was up and before we had both taken more than 2 turns. It would also take whatever token we had just finished answering away from us and not tally points correctly. If you ever get it fixed we might both try again but until then we have both uninstalled this game.
5 ★Great game! I'm not the smartest person in the world obviously but you don't have to be! There's plenty of opportunities to win and level up to get awesome rewards for in game use. This game is a very good time passer and can be addicting. The only issue is all the ads. But there's not sooo many where its unplayable. I give it 5 🌟 I mean, really. What game nowadays doesn't have a bunch of ads.. At least on this game the ads give rewards, or another try at a different question!
1 ★It's TRUE that the game is fun, but the dang ads need to be cut down. When you end a turn a stupid ads has to play. When you make a free spin an ad has to play. I can see that you have to watch an ad when you click to try answering a question a second time on your turn when it gives you the option, but not forcefully making you watch it on simple things. I would enjoy the game more if the ads would just cut back to where we have to click to watch as an option for something.
1 ★Not as good as the original, CAN'T change your name so your email address is broadcast to everyone. The graphics improved that's about it. Why can't you link your original account from the first one to the second one??? Makes no sense to me. I can see why the first one is an editors choice and this one is not!! Plus twice the amount of ads too HORRIBLE.
1 ★I absolutely love the first trivia crack but this one is so awful I hate it so much. I dislike that you have to use a heart for games that you have already started for every single turn you do. I also dislike how much it lags out, because of how bad the rest of the game is all I would play is the tower duel thing. However, towards the end of my time having the game, whenever I would be playing the tower duel after I answered a question it wouldnt move on, it would just stay on the screen. I would know that I was running out of time to keep playing so I would close and reopen the app, then I would resume my tower duel but 9 times out of 10, even if I still had tries left, it would have already locked my answers in and wouldnt let me play anymore so despite having tries left so I would lose without having a fair chance. Maybe also add a personal profile screen so people can see their ratings in the categories, overall not very good.
3 ★I like this app, learned a fair amount with the game and I like that ads are kind of optional now. Only thing is, I've accumulated so many of the extra time power ups, through leveling up and spinning the wheel of fortune, but I don't have the option to use them in any of my games. Also, as of recently if keeps on crashing with this one ad in the Tower Duel... I have to restart the app, making me lose a lot of time, and lose the duel. The update didn't fix it.
3 ★Never get the same question twice. Almost all questions are good quality and difficulty. The ads make getting an answer wrong especially frustrating and irritating and on top of that one time the ads made the game crash while I was playing a timed game mode. The ads are skippable but they are still the worst thing about the game because they stop you from doing anything else but watching the ad. If the ads would appear or play while I could navigate the main menu or while i could spin the wheel.
3 ★Would be so much better if it didn't pause my music/video I'm watching while I'm playing. even with the sound and music off, every time you get on and every time your done with your turn and goes back to main screen, whatever you have playing will pause and you have to go turn it back on every single time. it's very annoying. ads aren't too bad, not like some people say. my biggest complaints are my audio pausing and the fact you don't have performance stats.
3 ★It's really fun, though the first trivia crack was definitely better. They removed some components of the game that made the original game interesting, such as the ability to steal your opponent's "trophies". I understand why games have ads, but a monthly subscription for an ad-free experience is ridiculous - just have a one time purchase like every other app
3 ★Much better than TC1. However.... there are WAY TOO MANY ADS! Every time you answer incorrectly, there is an ad. After 3 correct answers, there is an ad. Spin the wheel, yep there is an ad. If the ads were quick it wouldn't be such a big deal, but most of them are 30-60 seconds long. With some being more than a minute. This is ridiculous. Change the ad issues and I will happily give this app 5 stars!
