Sumber tuntunan agama dan sumber pengetahuan wahyu Allah ada di genggaman Musa. Ia memiliki Taurat dan beragam mukjizat dari-Nya.
Namun, rupanya Allah memiliki hamba lain selain Musa yang lebih berilmu. Allah pun menegur dengan mewahyukan pada Musa bahwa tak seorang pun di muka bumi yang mampu menguasai semua ilmu.
Tak hanya Musa, di belahan bumi lain pun terdapat seorang yang memiliki ilmu luar biasa. Ilmu itu tak dimiliki Musa sekalipun. Orang itu juga seorang Nabi. Mengetahui hal tersebut, sontak Musa pun ingin berguru pada orang tersebut. Ia bersemangat ingin menuntut ilmu dan menambah pengetahuannya.
