Description
Our pilot project involved assisting people who are in need of blood. After the launch of a website we were able to help a lot of people in dire situations and were able to quickly respond to the demands that came our way. Since there is always a dearth of right donors we thought of coming up with an App which will facilitate an easier access to donor requirements. We are initiating the project with an Android App – “BigHeart”The app has four main feature buttons on the landing page which are,
• Donate – To enable users to support us monetarily
• Savior – To enable users to register themselves as donors
• Enlist- To enable users to register as volunteers
• Request – To enable users to search for donors
Apart from these key features, we have a side navigation bar which has details about BigHeart and its activities. Our vision, mission, story – Who we are? What do we do? How we do it etc., can be understood by users by exploring these sections. Also, the app will keep the users informed about the new events and activities conducted by BigHeart and can participate or contribute as they wish. We in BigHeart believe that anyone can be a Hero. Any person who is compassionate and empathetic towards fellow beings and is willing to help and improve our society even in a small way becomes a Hero for us.
Currently, we are present in Bangalore, Mysore, Davangere, Belgavi, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and more. We are increasing our presence for a better reach.
