Pavillon Prison Break ist ein location-based Game, das in die Zeit des Zellen- und Gerichtsgefängnis Hannover entführt. Deine Auftraggeberin ist Lucy aus dem Jahr 2168. Lucy ist eine Widerstandskämpferin gegen die totalitäre Herrschaft von good sense, einer Künstlichen Intelligenz, die die Ängste der Menschen ausnutzt, um sie zu willenlosen Cyborgs umzuoperieren. Für ihren Kampf braucht Lucy deine Hilfe: Nutze die Pavillon Prison Break App als deinen Assistenten auf der Suche nach einem alten Fluchttunnel, der einst aus dem historischen Zellen- und Gerichtsgefängnis Hannover herausführte und im Jahr 2168 die Rettung für Lucy und den Widerstand bedeuten könnte!Entwickelt wurde Pavillon Prison Break vom Kulturzentrum Pavillon in Hannover, das heute an Ort und Stelle des ehemaligen Gefängnisses steht. Das Game führt dich analog an diesen Ort. Hier musst du Rätsel lösen, Hinweise finden, Codes entschlüsseln oder Informationen recherchieren, die Lucy in ihrer Zeit benötigt. Teilweise führt dich die App auch an weitere Orte in Hannover.
Auf deiner Suche nach dem Fluchttunnel trittst Du in Kontakt mit vielen unterschiedlichen Menschen, die in den hundert Jahren zwischen 1863 – 1963 mit dem Gefängnis zu tun hatten: Insassinnen und Insassen, Gefängnispersonal, Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner und viele mehr.
