EMPOWER YOU es una aplicación promovida por el CERMI con el apoyo de la Fundación Vodafone España que tiene como objetivo ayudar a cualquier persona con discapacidad a ejercer y afianzar su poder de decisión sobre sí misma y su entorno, a modo de entrenador personal virtual de empoderamiento. La aplicación desarrollada por Technosite ofrece esta labor del entrenador personal virtual de empoderamiento, canalizada por una doble vía de recursos: “Personas que ayudan a personas” y “Empower Apps”.Personas que ayudan a personas: propicia el mentorado social, el acompañamiento, el voluntariado, el fortalecimiento de redes, a través de la participación voluntaria de personas idóneas que proporcionan orientaciones y apoyos a la persona con discapacidad en el camino hacia su plena inclusión social.
Empower Apps: ofrece aplicaciones accesibles, ordenadas en diferentes ámbitos, así como otras herramientas tecnológicas, a modo de complemento al acompañamiento de personas.
