3 ★Very mixed bag. The display is really good as is the information presented. Thats worth 5 stars. The marketing information is misleading at best. The station does NOT link the weather station to the outside, only the raw sensors so if you want inside temperature that's an additional sensor. And a hard wired Ethernet cord for a "wireless" station. The overall system design is poor. And their supposed on line chat function is non-existent even though they have disconnected their support phone.
1 ★I successfully used the 5-in-1 station with Smart Hub and associated web and mobile apps, for 2+ years. It worked flawlessly and provided reliable, accurate data. Most useful were the data graphs that allowed me to segment specific time periods. Then came the dreaded announcement...... As a career IT professional, I certainly understand the need to update/revise product lines to remain relevant in the market. However...... I cannot remember a single time when the company simply shut down the current product and "forced" customers into purchasing the new product. Typical protocol is to cease update/upgrades to the old technology and continue basic infrastructure support until the old version ages out. It is simply not done by a 12 month shot over the bow stating a forced upgrade is required to continue to use the product. Very disappointed in what was a solid product.
1 ★Worthless app now that Acurite decided to make my data unavailable unless I buy a new internet hub for $100. I've only had the first one for a year and there's nothing wrong with it. I bought this so I could monitor temps inside the home to make sure my furnace is keeping up with brutally cold weather while I'm away. I would not spend another nickel with these crooks.
1 ★this app is poor. the good news there should be no were to go then up. I hope. I love the 5 and 1 weather station, but this app supplies very little of the info of the weather station. plus this app should be easy to work' but needs more direct instructions. and there is no hot line to call. once I got hold of someone they were unaware how to help. if you know how an app works you maybe better off .
1 ★I paid several hundred dollars over 2 years ago for my AcuRite system which came with the use of a free app. Now, over two years later, I will have to pay a ransom to continue using the equipment that I paid several hundred dollars for over two years ago! I think those of us that have previously purchased the equipment should be grandfathered in and continued to utilize the equipment at no charge! How can I get my system working in house?
1 ★Android app dashboard is giving erroneous information. Website dashboard seems to have good data flowing. Android app dashboard continues to show 64 mph ESE for wind speed and direction. Barometer readings are stuck at 30.15. I want to put this new station online, but I don't want to flood the WU network with bogus data. I don't get it. These apps were rock solid... now more like melted ice cream. A very sad sight to behold.
2 ★Mobile app has good features & lots of potential, but badly implemented. Why for example does the screen flicker & flash several times while it is loading & processing data? This is unnecessary and very annoying after you see it for the 500th time. Why also does the app include Year & All Time graphing options when you don't support more than 31 days data? (well actually you did until you removed the data without warning earlier this year & forced me to repurchase my 2 week old internet uploader). UPDATE 3RD JAN: In response to the developers last reply, if you "never" allowed more than 31 days data to be downloaded then why is this the option of Year & All Time options included in the app in the first place? It obviously was intended to do that until your company removed the feature to store more than 31 days data uploaded from my weather station without any warning.. UPDATE 4TH JAN: In response, you keep saying "never more than 31 days", but you refuse to answer what the app includes options for "Year" "All Time" and "Custom" date ranges. Do I need to send you a photo of your app so you know how it works?

I have the 5 in 1 weather station that now has to be super close to the display just to get a signal. and now the app doesnt work at all. this app is constantly getting updates that are making it worse. so many crashes!! I highly recommend using any other company. dont waste your money here!
3 ★Up until a few weeks ago it was fine. Now it gives me someone else's data. Checked the station and it states it is our station. Checked the website data and that is correct. Weird situation. Update: Got to thinking. I use Weather Underground for web viewing so I logged into AcuRite directly and got the same results as the app. It appears it is linked to the wrong station in a similar but not exact climate. Might be a clue.
1 ★Tried to download app after setting up my station. Station works fine. As for this app, couldnt complete. Tried contacting customer service via email. All automated. No help to my problem. What they tell me to do is what my problem is to begin with. App won't allow me to set up an account. So without an account i cant contact them for assistance.
1 ★was great, before they disabled it and required a expensive new peice of hardware to make it work. The fact you spent a year saying we will break something you spent $100 on if you don't give us another $100 does not make it right to break it. I will not be purchasing the new hardware because I have no trust you won't do the same to it.
1 ★I had just bought this system to access and see temp readings on my phone for my cabin up north. 2-28-19 was my last reading. I finally go up there and spend time trying to change batteries, reset the hub. Finally I go to uninstall everything and reinstall. I see the star rating on the app and start reading the comments. OMFG the company just wasn't no longer going to support my smarthub they completely shut it down! It's worthless! I would NEVER buy anything from this company ever again!
